Works great, but didn't last long

afonit "afonit", Amazon
10 April 2014
  • Summary: This product is great in the beginning, however just two months in the connector gets so loose it is nearly impossible to charge, and there is a high pitched whining sound when you plug it into the computer.

Don't waste your time JBL Micro wireless is way better

baf10 "baf10", Amazon
7 April 2014
  • Summary: I own several Bluetooth speakers and am always looking for better ones. I love my JBL micro wireless and was going to buy another when i read about this speaker. Cnet even said this was better. There is no comparison. The JBL is much better with real bass and better sound. This speaker hardly produced any bass. Also the black speaker is khaki in color. The shape of the JBL fits better in your pocket.

Worked for a short while

Theodora "OH3", Amazon
12 January 2014
  • Summary: This speaker would never pair with my iPad 2, but paired well with my iPhone 4 until I was beyond the time limit of sending it back, then it stopped working altogether. When it did work, it had better than expected sound - though I'm not that fussy about quality, I just want amplification. The range was not impressive. SO, that's 50 bucks for using this speaker fewer than ten times, and I can't return it to Amazon. That doesn't make me happy.

Didn't work for me

Steve Cruz, Amazon
11 January 2014
  • Summary: This unit sounds fantastic and I greatly appreciate the aesthetics. I had difficulty with the Bluetooth connection. I have a very small place and simply wanted to take sound from my computer into the kitchen when I'm doing prep, or into the bathroom when I'm getting ready. Both are less than 12 feet from my desktop computer. Would play fine for about 10 minutes, then grow crackly, then "beep" and the connection was lost. I returned it.

Not worth the price.

C. Bing Kuan, Amazon
14 December 2013
  • Summary: The lack of a volume control is a problem. The sound is good but not great. I have bought this item thinking that it would be different from my x-mini, it turned out that the Soundshooter was not worth the price I have paid for it.

Style over substance

Wade Burch, Amazon
28 October 2013
  • Summary: I like the look of this thing. You really want to interact with it. It fits perfectly into the palm of my hand. A bit smaller than I expected. Just try not to pretend its a grenade...I dare you. It is a 2 material construction. The outer sleeve is a low durometer rubber or silicone. Very comfortable to hold. It is only a sleeve and can be peeled of relatively easily to expose a hard plastic shell containing the speaker and electronics.

Might be good, but mine wasn't.

Ryland Jones, Amazon
15 October 2013
  • Summary: Sadly when I got this item and tried playing music, it sounded horrible. Upon closer inspection it appeared that the speaker was torn, and hence was production less than desirable sound. My item was returned and my money refunded. Quite fast I may add.

Bad News for those killing themselves looking for good sound....

Stelios J. Malamamatos, Amazon
7 October 2013
  • Summary: Didn't like it at all. The way the reviews were posted it seemed like this little gadget was going to be a little miracle worker. We just needed something to Bluetooth our iPhones music library from our frock pockets in our small family run meat processing plant but not override us talking. Didn't happen. It was tinny sounding and cracked like a bad connection like some of the reviews warned. It took 30 seconds to realize this was not for us.

it takes too long too connect to tablet/ipad, etc

Sookran R. Oh "EllenWhite reader", Amazon
20 September 2013
  • Summary: I am not impressed because everytime i want to bluetooth-connect, it takes too long to connect. If I had known, it takes this long, i would not have ordered. And the connector part that plugs in to the speaker is so flimsy, and it is bent, i don't even know how it happened.
