Summary: The sound quality from this unit was surprisingly loud; we don't often turn it up past 25%. It's a relatively flat sound, but the bass is decent for its size. Highs are not incredibly crisp, but it's still a great sound for 95% of listeners. The problem I have with this unit stems from the ridiculous choice of Philips to put 802.11g in the unit.
Really good sound quality a little loud & small annoyance

Summary: So the configuration went smoothly for me, but couldn't get sound out of it for a while until I figured out my iPhone remote had the volume all the way up and the unit has volume protection (good) when I turned it down it started. 2 small issues: 1 when you turn it on it finds the wifi and blinks and stuff while it's doing that (fine) but when it finds it and is on the net it beeps. Pretty loud. That I find annoying.
Summary: Pros -excellent sound, especially for its size -excellent volume--more than enough for a large living room (say 500 sq ft) -seems very durable--thick, rigid case -easy-to-use remote; in addition to volume, on/off and mute you can skip through iTunes or DVD tracks using the remote -airplay connection very good using Mac OS X 10.5.8 and 3 Mbps DSL service 5 stars for these features Cons -USB cable fits very loosly in the socket--unreliable connection.
Wonderful sound, great remote control ability. Setup took forever.

Summary: This unit looks sleek and very 21st century. It sounds great too. I was really amazed at what I was hearing from my iPhone over this unit. Subtle notes came through really well and distinguishable. The remote control worked great for the most part. Had some issues here and there with it. Perhaps it was the 'airwaves.' My biggest issue was set up. While I expected it to be a breeze it wasn't. Had one issue after another. Finally things clicked and I got connected.

Summary: This was my first speaker with integrated AirPlay, which was exciting. However, I was a bit nervous that Philips manufactured it, because while they apparently market high-end A/V in Europe, they're more of a "value-brand" manufacturer stateside. Don't get me wrong, there's certainly nothing wrong with "value" in today's economy, but this speaker is creeping into high-end pricing, to the point where you expect it to deliver in terms of audio quality! Did it?
Steuerung mittels verchromter Fernbedienung.
Pros: Schickes Design, einfache Netzwerkeinbindung, hohe Lautstärke, guter Klang
