Summary: this for me is the most cheap and the most affordable dock Bluetooth with remote speakers it has the best sound quality even when its on its max volume but the only thing that bad about this is how they packed it the box was a big box with a big space in it that can fir another speaker but i think i got lucky that nothing happened to my speaker besides that all is good great sound great look good price love it!!
Summary: This Phillips Fidelio portable speaker is pretty good. Now, there is room for improvement. When the volume is turned up (I like it loud at bath time), the sound is muffled. The base and the hi's are only fairly acceptable. I ordered 6-8 portable speakers. I tried price ranges from $89.00-$273. The $273 is what I ended up paying for my Phillips. That may sound like a lot of money. But I found you do NOT get top o' the line for that kind of money.
Summary: Just got this speaker today, and it's fantastic! Setup (Bluetooth) took less than a minute each for an iPad then iPhone 3GS and iPod touch. Sound fills my room beautifully, and I could take BT device anywhere in my 3 level home without interruption. iPod, Pandora, even movie sound was fantastic.
Summary: Like so many other reviewers, my first one had very distracting clicks and pops in the sound. One call to customer service and the new one was on the way with a pre-paid label for returning the old one. The new one sounds great. This box makes really nice sound, full and rich, not tinny like other small speakers. I don't use the Fidelio app, but understand that there's EQ there if needed.
Summary: I bought this not to long ago and it works great with my iPhone and iPad. Both sound great and charge just fine. Now for some reason my iPad 2 does not charge when connected to this? All in all I really enjoy this and think it was a great buy. I also have a Droid X so using the Bluetooth to connect to that phone is also pretty helpful.
Summary: The most important fact is that I'm satisfied with the sound quality (after I changed the equalizer to flat, but I guess that's personal) and the basic functionality. Look is nice too. Otherwise I'm not too impressed by the system. - bluetooth connection Once setup, bluetooth is well integrated on the iPad.
Summary: Bought as a present for my husband. Arrived promptly and he's pleased with it. Sounds good and bluetooth facility excellent. However downside of using ipad 2 is that it doesn't charge when docked as it only charges with ipad 1. Would have scored 5 stars if it charged ipad 2 when using it.
Summary: Having already got Airplay covered, I bought this for use with iPad music apps, not all of which support Airplay though some of the apps don't allow Bluetooth connectivity either - ThumbJam for example, fine - use the jack lead supplied. It is so much better than I really anticipated that I'm using it more and more just for listening to music (pricey Bowers and Wilkens Zeppelin gathering a little dust!). A few minor things to mention on the negative side though.
