Summary: This Phillips Fidelio portable speaker is pretty good. Now, there is room for improvement. When the volume is turned up (I like it loud at bath time), the sound is muffled. The base and the hi's are only fairly acceptable. I ordered 6-8 portable speakers. I tried price ranges from $89.00-$273.
Summary: Just got this speaker today, and it's fantastic! Setup (Bluetooth) took less than a minute each for an iPad then iPhone 3GS and iPod touch. Sound fills my room beautifully, and I could take BT device anywhere in my 3 level home without interruption. iPod, Pandora, even movie sound was fantastic.
Summary: Like so many other reviewers, my first one had very distracting clicks and pops in the sound. One call to customer service and the new one was on the way with a pre-paid label for returning the old one. The new one sounds great.
Summary: I bought this not to long ago and it works great with my iPhone and iPad. Both sound great and charge just fine. Now for some reason my iPad 2 does not charge when connected to this? All in all I really enjoy this and think it was a great buy.
Summary: The most important fact is that I'm satisfied with the sound quality (after I changed the equalizer to flat, but I guess that's personal) and the basic functionality. Look is nice too. Otherwise I'm not too impressed by the system.
Summary: Bought as a present for my husband. Arrived promptly and he's pleased with it. Sounds good and bluetooth facility excellent. However downside of using ipad 2 is that it doesn't charge when docked as it only charges with ipad 1. Would have scored 5 stars if it charged ipad 2 when using it.
Summary: Having already got Airplay covered, I bought this for use with iPad music apps, not all of which support Airplay though some of the apps don't allow Bluetooth connectivity either - ThumbJam for example, fine - use the jack lead supplied.
