Summary: Like this best for use with Bluetooth. There is no sideways support for an iPad, where it connects to the docking station. So, the iPad is easily dislodged. And, it's difficult sometimes to get the iPad on there just right, can takes a few attemps. Not as big an issue for iPhone. If I need another docking station, I will avoid one with this issue.
Summary: Sound is great, but this one came with defecting battery, called Philips for exchange but they said they didn't have In stock!!,took me like 6 week to get my refund from Philips any way the seller from amazon they !wash they hand! Just call Philips !,but about the dock speaker,if everything work like the way supposed to work this item is one of the best dock speaker...
Summary: There are some great things (device durability, rechargeable battery) and some mediocre things (bluetooth, remote, price) about this device. At the MSRP, I suggest looking elsewhere. You've got a multitude of connection options -- Apple dock connector, 3.5mm audio jack, and bluetooth (though more on that later.) The rechargeable battery is probably the most redeeming feature of this device -- giving you a truly cord free speaker option.
Summary: Right out of the box this little powerhouse had enough juice to fire up without attaching the AC Charger. The setup was very straight forward, and I plugged in my iPad and away it went. Phillips has an app for the Fidelio that works perfectly with the iPad and helps produce some the best music I've ever heard from a small unit this size. I downloaded the app on the spot, placed the iPad into the docking station and away it went.
Summary: I have been using this docking speaker for a few months now and have absolutely loved it... until recently!!! It used to charge my old iPad 1 no problem, but I have since sold that and bought the new iPad and this speaker will no longer charge my iPad! Not only that but I also wanted to use the speaker in the garden over the weekend (as it was a nice day) - it simply would not charge!
Summary: I bought this speaker dock for my Ipad 2. It is an attractive unit and the size complements the Ipad, not too big and portable. The Ipad is stable once docked. The sound quality is very good, though the bass might be a bit much for some. I liked the wireless connection via bluetooth, the built in reachargeable battery and the remote control. Its also very easy to set up and use.
Summary: Love the sound and the features - the bluetooth connectivity is excellent. That said, the unit is supposed to last 5 hours on full charge, mine lasts 45 minutes. Philips c/s were hopeless. The Amazon market trader said I will have to send it back to them, and they'll to send to Philips for repair. Not sure how long that will take and don't want to be without it for weeks. So looks like I'm stuck. Interested to know if anyone else has a similar issue.
