Summary: The Philips Fidelio sound system for the Ipod, is an above average product. For this review I gave it a 4/5 stars. Over all the system is fairly heavy, but not unreasonably so. It is well constructed, although the case top protecting the speakers during storage seems like it would fall off if dropped. The sound is clear, and ample for even the largest rooms, even while using the Bluetooth feature (which is why I purchased this item).
Summary: I was looking for a speaker dock that didn't take up a lot of space and still had good sound. (I had a Bose speaker dock before, and no the sound isn't quite as good as the Bose, but it is half the size) I can charge this and have it play for days while I work. The controls are easy to use. The sound is good. I can take it anywhere. I would buy it again.
Summary: The sound is great. It will play and charge our ipad and iphone 4 if it is out of the case. The blue tooth feature makes it convienent to carry your phone while jamming, but you must deactivate one device before another can be used with the Bluetooth. Annoying.
Summary: Good sound quality. Looks nice. Reasonably portable. Battery is a plus. Heavy enough to serve as a solid base for the iPad. Only concern is that the iPad can potentially be knocked off of the dock since it sits propped up on the connector and is not braced on the bottom or sides. But overall I am very happy with it.
Summary: The speaker dock is a quality product and well worth the price. It has good sound, is compact and attractive. The instructions and user guide are terrible. The visual instructions were only numbered 1-3 for 9 photos. i called the help line and was told to download the user guide on line. I did and it was identical to what was in the packaging. I called back and the associate was excellent and surprised that they were one and the same.
Summary: My husband uses this to listen to his iPod in the car when driving to and from work. He really likes it. It gives off great sound and is very easy to use. The only thing it really needs, and why it lost one star, was there is no battery gauge. It would be nice if it had the little battery icon that shows how much power you have left. Then, it wouldn't just die on you unexpectedly. Except for that one thing, it is a very nice unit.
Summary: We love this. It is convenient to use in my kitchen or bring it out on the deck. We have used it all summer outside while we paint our house! Sounds pretty good for a small unit. (I am not too thrilled with Dock Studio on my Ipad though...it is confusing.) It is definately more stable and sturdy using the Ipod rather than the Ipad but both work for our needs.
Summary: The sound of the Fidelio is great for the price paid. However, the interface is a bit difficult to use and not very intuitive. The songs also sometimes skip when on Bluetooth mode especially if you are using the iPad for something else. Otherwise, it gets 5 stars for battery life and aesthetics!
Summary: My new iPad sounds great on this. The software that comes free with it (an app that you download) needs some work though. I had to close out of it and restart the app to get an option to STOP the music. The best thing to do is to just not use the app, I think. The speakers great a sound better than what I expected for the price.
