Did not come with power cable

Larry, Amazon
15 May 2014
  • Summary: This did not come with power cord as it said it would. After initially plugging in, it sounded terrible and played terrible. But after getting the battery fully charged, it works great. I was pretty frustrated at first, but now I'm happy with the purchase.

We love these speakers for playing music and fast charging.

eriejeg, Amazon
11 November 2013
  • Summary: We purchased this speaker for our family and use at home. We aren't obsessed with music, so we aren't audiophiles and I can't comment on sound quality, other than it is great for average people. It has a fast charge, which is great for dropping our iphones in, and you can play at the same time. If a call comes in, the music is interrupted and the ring goes through the speaker. Just pick up and answer the phone -- no problems.

Absolutely fantastic product... two smaller quibbles to note

B. Shaw "perturbed penguin", Amazon
9 August 2013
  • Summary: This speaker system is fantastic, the build quality is excellent and the design is amazing. More importantly the sound is extremely impressive for such a small speaker system. The built in battery is great for bringing it with you for what I would consider to be basically a full day of on and off playback.

Not happy at first, but got a new one and very happy now

Rachel Givens, Amazon
18 April 2013
  • Summary: I have one purchased that from the Apple store and love it. I decided to purchase one for my best friend for her Birthday. When she received it, there was no power adaptor and the box it came in said "Display" on it. I filed a claim with the seller and they handled it beautifully, we sent back the original one and they sent us a new one. I had to call Amazon to get the process started, but the seller followed through and I really appreciated that.

Perferct Poolside Docking Station

Robert F Cooper, Amazon
7 July 2011
  • Summary: Needed a good option for listening to my tunes out at the pool, mostly. Had tried a few smaller tube-style speakers that were powered by AA batteries, but they just weren't loud enough. I didn't need speakers powerful or loud enough to play during a raucous pool party, just something loud enough for me and my friends to listen to in our end of the pool. And these work just perfectly.

Sleek looking, small footprint, good sound!

Super Mum, Amazon
28 May 2011
  • Summary: My loves: - Small footprint so it won't take up a ton of room - Beautiful to look at. Very sleek and modern - The iPod/iPhone charging component folds forward so my iPhone 4 can keep its bulky Otterbox cover on (HUGE points here as I refuse to take it off!) - Holds its charge for hours so it can keep blaring through a party - The app works perfectly for me (though I have read from the reviews in the app store I may be the only one... keeping my fingers crossed).

Philips DS7550 vs. Logitcch S715i

MW "MW", Amazon
30 November 2010
  • Summary: I purchased both the Philips Fidelio DS7550 Rechargeable Portable Docking Speaker for iPod/iPhone (Aluminum/Black) and the Logitech S715i Rechargeable Speaker for iPod and iPhone to choose one as a travel speaker when I want something more substantial than my ALTEC LANSING iM207 Orbit-MP3 . Here is a quick comparison. -Build quality. Both are very solid and seem like they will hold up well.

Great portable speakers with only one small problem.

Wiiviewer, Amazon
21 October 2010
  • Summary: The Itouch is a great MP3 player, but has some awful speakers. This product is perfect for a person on the go. It's lightweight, and the sound it produces is fantastic. I couldn't believe the amount of bass that was being produced. It was very impressive. The only downside I saw was there was no indication how low the batteries or how long they would last on a charge.
