Summary: I originally bought this with the intent to use it with my iPhone 4S. The first one didn't have all the parts and didn't work. The second one has all the parts, but still doesn't work with my iPhone, whether I use the dock, or the headphone jack that comes with it. However, it does work on my laptop, and the sound is nice.
Just stopped working after 6 months ... but still recommend it.

Summary: I really like this portable speaker and have recommended it to my friends. MUCH better than listening to Pandora through my iphone's speakers. But today it stopped working; just wouldn't turn on. Luckily, the Philips people stand behind the product. I went on chat on their website, they had me test the unit on two different outlets and confirm that the adapter was firmly attached.
Summary: This product has some obvious strengths. It's compatible not merely with the iPad and larger iPods, but much to my surprise and delight, the tiny Shuffle versions as well. It's lightweight, compact and comes in a padded sheath-style traveling case that is actually practical. The back has a pop-out stand to improve the balance.
Summary: The positives: Easy to use, built in battery, feels solidly made, carry case included & internet radio with iPhone or iPod Touch via free app or on-demand radio from BBC iPlayer. The negatives: The sound quality is middling at best, boxy mid-range, practically useless bass-boost function merely adds low pitched farts or worse, distortion and finally, the treble rolls off so no sparkle to the music.
