Good Little Speaker

Harry Funnell, Amazon
27 December 2012
  • Summary: A little confusing to set up as you have to let it charge for a bit before the speaker kicks into life, good sound for such a small speaker and very light to take anywhere.

Jodie, Amazon

  • Summary: An excellent value for money product. Works both with my iphone and ipod. The sound is excellened when compared to many other travel speakers. However I do tend to run it off the mains rather than battery due battery life.

Excellent Portable iPod Speaker For £30

Mr. C. J. Molnar, Amazon
10 June 2012
  • Summary: I've been looking for a portable iPod player. I received this as a present. The product is very sleek and stylish. It's very sturdy, the buttons are not flimsy at all. The instructions are extremely easy to use. The cover for the batteries are easy to open and is sturdy. My iPhone stays firmly in place when on the speaker, which charges it at the same time. The sound that comes from the speakers is very good.

Awful sound

P. Griffiths, Amazon
4 August 2011
  • Summary: I have never really regarded Philips as a strong player in the audio market - fine for TV's, kettles and razors but with audio products my experience is that they have been average. I bought this for taking on holiday on the strength of recently buying one of it's bigger brothers, the DS8500/05 PHILIPS DS8500/05 Fidelio Docking Speaker for iPhone/iPod - White , which is superb.
