Philips Fidelio DX3000 30 pin ipod/phone speaker dock

Summary: This little unit has a very strong solid base sound as well as emitting the whole tonal range. Searched high and low for this unit as the store where we purchased our first one no longer carried this product. We were so happy to have found it on amazon.
Summary: We bought this for our son... and I must say it really sounds nice. I say this compared to other docks we have had. It is not a full-blown stereo system that can fill a house... but it isn't meant to be. If fills my son's bedroom just fine though.
Summary: I only do reviews here i if i think a product as earned it, or is just very bad. (the bad reviews never seem to make it it seems :>)..Any we have a house with iTouchs/ipods and iphones now. I never had one of these speaker docks before and wanted one for a Xmas gift. I decided on this one mostly because of the look, it seemed to have a bit of "apple" design to it which I liked.
Summary: This device performed as expected. The music sounded very nice. We live in an open concept house. The device filled the living room and kitchen with beautiful rich sounds for a device of this type. Very satisfied.
Summary: Great sound, easy to use- glad I didn't pay $200 for one of the higher end ones. Granted I didn't turn it up too loud- this is for the office, if I wanted something really loud at home I would plug my iPod into my receiver.
Summary: This small speaker has great sound, I've been very happy so far! More than sufficient to fill our bedroom. If you need to fill a bigger room or just want higher fedility then get a larger Fidelio model, but for the $ and size this speaker just can't be beat. When I go to big box electronics stores I stop and check the other speakers and they just don't compare sound wise.
Summary: If you are looking for a small iphone dock for the kitchen with good sound for music or talk while you cook and clean up, this is it! Great price, better sound than I expected. Portable with the batteries if you want to use it for a class presentation, etc. Highly recommended. The fidelio app that you can download is not necessary but does a couple of nice things.
