Philips DCM230 is an iPod docking speaker system and CD receiver. It is designed in metallic finish with slim CD slot and capable to produce 30 Watts RMS power. Among its main features include AM/FM tuner, USB connectivity, Dynamic Bass Boost, Digital Sound Control and a remote control included.

Features

The DCM230 plays and charges iPod simultaneously on the docking station. Besides that, it can connect to USB device and plays music files in the USB device. In addition, it plays MP3 and WMA formats from CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs. It features digital tuning for station presets in Am and FM radio frequency. For sound reproduction, it is built with Dynamic Bass Boost that emphasizes bass sound from low to high level. In addition, Digital Sound Control offers a choice of pre-set Jazz, Rock, Pop and Classic to complement the different musical styles preferred. Each mode uses graphic equalizing technology to automatically adjust the sound balance and enhance sound frequencies. A remote control is included that allows user to control the system and iPod at a distance. It is fully compatible with iPod, iPod mini, iPod nano, iPod with colour display, iPod 5th Generation.
