Summary: A nice docking speaker. At first I was unhappy with the sound quality but needed to tweak the graphic equalizer on my phone to get the best sound results. Bought my first one for work and was that impressed will be buying another for home use.
Summary: Given the hundreds of iPod docks available it's always frustrating how few Android docks are available. This dock from Philips is quite flexible in the way you can attach android devices with all their myriad of connection placements and orientations, in that the connector can rotate through 180 and move side to side, but it has its limitations. Devices with a connector on the side, at one end might not be that stable and might put stain on the connector.
Very stylish, does everything that the promotional material claims

Summary: There are many docking speakers on the market designed for the overpriced i-pad/i-phone devices, but not that much choice for mp3/Android players. I have recently purchased from Amazon a Samsung Galaxy mp3 and needed a speaker system to match the super looks and performance of the device. The Phillips AS851 speaker does the trick.
Why are there not more docks for non-Apple products?

Summary: Just got the dock up and running and I have to say I love it. Great sound quality that fills my front room nicely. Love the bluetooth element and controlling my phone remotely. I can't understand why there are not more docks on the market for Android - I've been looking for a while to no avail, so hats off to Philips who have a few to choose from.
Summary: I was looking for a bluetooth speaker in general not so much an Android speaker (Although that is an added plus). After many disappointments this one finally nailed it for me. The sound quality is great. Good base was a critical factor for me and this is the only speaker that delivered. The app is basically useless except for updating the speaker firmware(which was a surprise!
Summary: ......99% of the functions work only when the phone is docked and even on the dock, has to be connected by Bluetooth. The sound quality on this dock is the best I've ever heard and it would almost power a nightclub. I couldn't believe the clarity and volume without distortion even on high volumes (I felt like a teenager in a sooped up Corsa with skirts and a sub-woofer in the back). My only problem was that nothing works without the phone docked.
Summary: I love my Android phone and got sick of every stereo having an iphone/ipod dock but nothing for android. I decided to buy the most expensive speaker dock to get the best sound quality and I haven't been disappointed. I live in a flat and for what I need it for it is perfectly ample. If you want it for a large house or building then you would need a more powerful sound system.
Summary: Was looking for a android exclusive speakerdock for my smartphone. Could not find any except for the fidelio line from Philips. Got the topmodel since i wanted better sound and the remote that is not included with the other models. You do not need the fidelio software to have your android phone to work with the dock. I found the software to be really buggy. You can use the standard bluetooth to connect with the dock.
