Summary: I purchased this speaker dock as a gift for my husband, and we both get plenty of use out of it. It seemed to be one of the better options out there for Android devices (we both have Samsung Galaxy phones), especially for the price. When you turn up the volume, the sound isn't as crisp and clear as I would have hoped, but it's perfect for rocking out in our townhome. I also love that I can charge my phone at the same time.
Great buy! Bass could be a lot better, but overall a good player

Summary: I really like this player. We use it all over the house. It picks up my phone even when I am in other rooms and there are walls and doors between us! It gets quite loud, especially if the volume on my phone is turned up to the max. The only thing that bugs me about this player is that the bass sounds pretty terrible. Very boomy and VERY fuzzy/muddled.
Summary: I am no means an audiophile but this does what I wanted it to. Bluetooth connection for my books or music on my phone. The cord is plenty long enough to reach far plugs on my desk at work so no worries. It connects to my phone in less than a second and rarely drops the connection. I have not been able to crank it up because of my colleagues, but it would be plenty loud for doing some outside work and an extension cord.
Summary: I am generally pleased with my Philips Fidelio unit. As to sound quality, remember this is not advertised as a high-end audio system, just simple little speakers for your Android plus charging dock. And it does this pretty well. At a little over $50 from Amazon, I do not expect the sound of a $500 Bose unit. For the price, it delivers nice sound. I like it better for popular music (popular for my generation at least, I'm 72) than for classical which is more demanding.
easy to use, good sound for a small self-contained speaker

Summary: If you're looking for a smaller self-contained Android speaker dock, give this one a try. If you don't have much space on your table or desk, this one is nice because it is one piece with a small footprint. Sound is pretty good for a small unit, though of course it doesn't compare with higher powered separate stereo speakers. Bluetooth is easy to setup and doesn't seem to degrade audio quality. The micro-USB power port works well and is more stable than it looks.
