Summary: i have read many bad reviews of this product before i made a purchase. but i simply liked the design of the product. The product itself is good for its price. Good speaker. Compact size. Charges well. Decent design. Cute little orange lights from the bottom (although i hoped it would be much brighter). Sure, it may have bad app review, but it does not effect full usage of this product.
Summary: I love this speaker. It's a beautiful design. The bluetooth connection holds up well up to 25 feet away through 2 walls. It's plenty loud and has a surprising amount of bass, almost too much. The connection port is a bit flimsy, but that's to be expected for a universal device. Once docked, the phone is solidly secured to the dock. It takes a non-trivial amount of force to remove the phone from the dock, meaning it won't ever get knocked down accidentally.
Summary: It takes a lot for me to give something 5 stars, so please do not take the loss of a star as a sign of any issues with this product. I do really like this product as it is reasonably priced and does exactly what I wanted it for. I have a spare, older Android phone from another provider that I do not use anymore. It works great as the brain for this clock/charger/speaker system. The Bluetooth is a little awkward, but not difficult to setup.
Good dock with another app than the Philips one....

Summary: The sound quality is very good. The dock communicated with the device through bluetooth only . The Philips app is not usable nut there are good third party ones which are working very well and that turn the dock into a proper radio alarm clock !!!!
Summary: I was looking for a dock for my Samsung Galaxy S4 and wanted an alarm clock too; here it is!! I don't really understand the purpose of the Songbird app, because it is just for music, not alarms. The speaker is pretty loud and the bluetooth feature is nice so that I can listen to music and still be able to text or play on other apps.
Summary: This really isn't a dock...it's more like a micro USB charger with a pair of bluetooth speakers attached. A dock, in my opinion, should give some control over the device, have media buttons (play, pause, next track, previous track, etc), sync with the device (setting the clock automatically, for example), and playback audio via the dock connector. None of those things are present with the Fidelio.
Summary: I wanted a combo alarm clock/speaker/docking station for my Samsung Galaxy SII for the bedroom, this was the best option available that fit on a nightstand. My comments are in line with everyone elses. Negatives: The Fidelio app constantly tries to connect - and I know how to kill apps - it would automatically restart itself. I uninstalled it, everything works fine.
Summary: In your description it says "Simply connect your Android phone and the Fidelio docking speaker will automatically synchronise its clock's time with your phone's." but in the image the phones time is set to 2:30 while the device time is 6:59. Probably an oversight but the phone looks like it's connected and it's not sync'd timewise. Consider updating the photo?
