Summary: I used this for 4 years with infrequently usage then one day it stopped working. It was just done. While it was working, it was easy to use. The volume is fine for listening to music indoors. The ipod was easy to put into place and remove again. There were no complaints at all. It did what it was supposed to do. Just wish it didn't suddenly stop working for no reason.
Summary: The first one worked fine, had great sound especially given its size - but it stopped working after about 6 months and there was no trouble shooting the reason the IPod no longer played, although the radio worked fine. (Its six month warranty didn't cover it, but after spending a huge amount of time arguing it was replaced)... The second one worked fine also - until its 7th month - nothing works on this one, not even the radio.
Summary: I am very disappointed in the quality of the boombox. It looks nice, however, the sound quality is poor. The radio stations don't come in well most of the time. There is constant static. Sometimes the static is so loud, I can't stand it. I can't even get local channels. I feel like I threw $25 away. I wouldn't buy this product for even $10.
i beat this up for years before it finally conked out on me

Summary: I bought one of these (refurbished) over 3 years ago because I wanted something small with good sound to bring into my mail truck so I would have music. I bought an accessory outlet adapter so I didn't have to use batteries. That worked until I got a different mail truck that didn't have an outlet so now I use batteries. The batteries (4 AA) last 4-5 days and I play my music pretty loud. I also bought a cord for the aux-in so I could play my mp3 through this radio.
