Great Sound, Mediocre Battery

Biotronic, Amazon
25 April 2011
  • Summary: Bought this in December 2010 and have used it at least once per week. My main function for this is listening to music outdoors (in parks, on the beach, etc.), so I generally only listen to it on battery. I usually listen to a wide assortment of electronic music genres on it.

Extraordinary Sound, Small Package, but...

Brett Anthony, Amazon
27 January 2011
  • Summary: OK, this thing gives amazing sound performance for the size and price; AS LONG AS IT'S PLUGGED IN! It also runs on internal rechargeable batteries, but they apparently aren't up to the power requirements; because the fullness and dimensional presence of the music simply disappears when you pull the...

Very good sound, two gripes

Roman Shulman, Amazon
19 September 2010
  • Summary: Right out of the box and plugged in the unit produced very good sound. At first I thought the kickstand was flimsy and was not supporting the unit well. Another review here helped resolve this by pointing out that it needs to be pushed in harder than one may think, and then it really does lock in.

All about the sound

anwar, Ciao
19 January 2015
  • Excerpt: Several Christmases ago my teenage son asked for a speaker system that would allow him to play and change his ipod. To be honest I knew (and still know) very little about music systems and so had no idea what model to buy.
  • Pros: excellent sound quality, robust, well priced
  • Cons: none for me

Best Dock in its price range

AkimTheMan, Amazon
18 July 2011
  • Summary: This is very likely the best sounding dock in its price category. In addition to the apple connector it has also a 3.5 mm audio input, which ensures compatibility with just about any sound source. The sound quality when using the battery is clearly less impressive but it is ok.

Highly recommended

cheekymark, Amazon
1 May 2011
  • Summary: If your looking for a no fuss, portable and great sounding ipod dock then this really is the class leader at the moment. Logitech speaker products have historically been rather bass heavy, but I like base, and this lends the speaker a very meaty sound that will easily fill a medium to large size...

Great sound, great portability

D. Thorpe, Amazon
23 April 2011
  • Summary: I've had one of these for a couple of weeks. For the size, it sounds excellent, although it can be a bit bass-heavy. It can fill a small room with sound. I love the fact it's also portable and comes with a travel bag plus both UK and European adaptors. Battery life is excellent.

Almost perfect...

N. A. Wright "Elmo", Amazon
23 April 2011
  • Summary: The sound quality of this ipod dock is astonishing, given the size and price. This is from the perspective of a hifi geek. It goes very loud without distortion, the bass is a lot fuller than it should be and the sound really fills a lot of space.
