Summary: this item has a really good sound for such a small speaker and the price is right how ever im giving this item three stars for the rechargable battery. the claim is you get ten hours of battery or twenty hours on power save mode i have found this not to be the case. so far the first day after charging over night i got about eight and a half hours of life so i charged the unit for longer i barly got two hours into the day and the led indicator light turned red wich means...
Summary: I bought this at Best Buy. It sounds OK at a low volume, but go past 50% and it sounds terrible. I listened to music through it for about 30 seconds, then put it back in the box and returned it. For a little more money, get the s715i.. It sounds WAY better and even at a high volume.
Summary: The battery life on this product is very inconsistent. Will work for hours sometimes others it will die in under 30 min after a full charge. (and yes, it is being used correctly) I would buy it for a an inexpensive nice sounding system for a bathroom/bedroom/kitchen and always keep it plugged into the wall.
Summary: I have Logitech laptop usb powered speakers, and they have enough bass to rattle across a desk. So naturally I was drawn to this. I assummed this would be even better, but I was quickly dissapointed. Sound quality is good, only about 12 inches wide, so very portable. But absolutely no bass!! I have not tried the battery yet, but seems like a good feature. I also bought a Klipsch sxt ipod dock and was blown away by the bass.
Like the speaker, watch out for any Logitech rebates!

Summary: I purchased this for my new iPod Nano 5G and like the speaker a lot.. good sound, nice look. The only problem I've had so far is that it had a Logitech rebate (20% if you purchase 2 products) on amazon and after submitting it with all of the documentation, it came back as rejected due to 'Invalid UPC Code'. I was told (by their rebate center) that this product was not included on the rebate. No mention on the form, no mention on the amazon site.
Summary: First of all, this is an item I received for free. After charging the built-in battery, I was off to the garage. My iPhone 3G fit perfectly. I'm no audiophile but at the price they're charging for this, I would have expected better sound quality. In fact, I though it sounded like a small boom box from the 80's. The portability factor is great and being able to use it without having to plug it in is great.
A serviceable product although pricey for the sound quality

Summary: Although I have been a long-time iPod owner/user, I have never gotten around to purchasing or using an external speaker prior to this one, other than when using my car's own speaker system while driving. Now when I arrive at the office I can remove my iPod from my car, take it into my office and plug it into the Logitech Rechargeable Speaker and continue to enjoy my iPod's music throughout my workday.
Summary: I bought this unit for use in a relatively small bathroom and have been using it for the last week. It's not bad and suits my purposes pretty well, however there are some poor design choices and almost certainly better choices depending on your use case. So firstly sound quality is decent, especially considering the size of the unit. Reasonable bass for the unit's size, relatively good sound tone and clarity, OK stereo imaging.
Looks nice, sounds nice but maybe harbours a serious flaw

Summary: Look at a couple of 1 star reviews of the Logitech Pure-Fi and MM50 portable speakers and you will find complaints of a problem whereby the speakers automatically turn off for no apparent reason when on battery power, after a few minutes of play. I've had the exact same problem with both models. For whatever reason, whatever iPod I use (perhaps it is instrumental genres), the speakers power off, as if going into standby.
