Summary: My Husband purchased this for me as a Christmas gift in 2011. Logitech has had to replace it TWICE now that make a total of THREE I have gone through. Different issues, First one would not charge, second one and third unit showed signs of life as the charge light worked and the unit had power even on battery. I plugged in my iPod Touch and tried to play music and got no amplification. Very frustrating, but there was an upside to it all.
Summary: I bought this dock some time ago and I stopped using it because it would shut itself off every fifteen minutes in order to conserve battery power. It would do this when using streaming services such as Pandora since the iphone/ipod doesn't output the signal to the dock to tell it is in use. Thankfully logitech has acknowledged this and are trying to get it fixed with a new four hour time out period. Here is some info from the Logitech support site.
Summary: I recently had won my first iPod and wanted to get some simple speakers to make my kitchen wireless. I got this product and had to return with a week because it just stopped working. At first I wasn't sure what the problem was, called Logitech and tried to get some tech support...even the guy on the phone was like this particular product has been giving everyone headaches. It would have worked great had it only worked.
Summary: A lot of people seem to like this but I got one and am really sorry I bought it. Sound is fine but shortly after getting it, the "rechargeable" battery stopped charging and the unit only worked when connected to the mains. After another while, it intermittently wouldn't turn on even when plugged in. Doesn't work at all now so I have to go buy another speaker. It won't be a Logitech.
Summary: The Logitech S315i Speaker I purchased in November as a Christmas gift for my husband did not work when opened on Christmas day. And as the purchase date was beyond Amazon's 30 day returns policy I am now having to contact the manufacturer in the hope of getting the product replaced?????
Sounds Like a Cat dancing & singing on a biscuit tin!

Summary: I bought one of these after a lot research. I was hopeful that it would meet my requirements for good sound quality, portable and charges my I-pod. Well it does all but sound like anything worth listening to. My Radio Alarm clock at circa 3w and 20 years old has better sound quality. Very very disappointing from Logitech. My Lap Top speakers are awesome this is simply orrible!
