Summary: Within one month of purchasing this product, it is no longer working. I plug my iPod into it, and though the iPod is playing, I'm getting no sound from the Logitech docking station. Going through the limited options in the troubleshooting manual, my problem is still not resolved. I've tried two different iPods on it, and neither will work. Using another brand of docking station (iHome), I am able to play successfully. Using the Logitech, I'm not.
Summary: I ordered this item for my son as a Christmas gift. Per the photo, it is a Stereo system with Ipod dock. NEW (not used). Seller first told me that it would ship and be delivered in time for Christmas. Three times I contacted the seller inquiring as to whether it had even shipped as I was not even informed of it's status. I was assured that it had shipped and would only take 3-5 days in transit. Today, Sat. Dec.
Summary: My experience with customer service is almost identical to "yeomans". My Pure-Fi's right speaker stopped working only when using the iPod, two different iPods were tested to make certain and the radio worked fine. Contacted customer service through email, they told me they would send out a truck to pick it up. Got another message the next day saying "...the Pure-Fi Elite is currently on back order due to insufficient." (insufficient what?).
Summary: STAY AWAY FROM LOGITECH PRODUCTS! (Sorry about caps. I am, in fact, trying to depict yelling.) While the Pure-Fi Elite offers decent sound, dealing with Logitech customer service has been atrocious. We has some issues with our unit and here's the following timeline that suggests some institutional problems with Logitech support. 1/8: request warantee replacement due to power on/off problems. 1/10: asked to send proof-of-purchase via fax.
