Summary: Purchased this one after alot of research on cnet and other sites, for the price I think its a great product with awesome output. The only drawbacks I found were that its reaaaalllly heavy, not to mention the tank sized power adapter and also that hiss it generates as its starting up. On the bright side the lighting on the top is great and the remote is easy to handle and is very light weight.
Pros: Sounds fantastic, looks great and seems like its going to be a top product. Found this on sale at Good Guys for $250 AUD. Light up buttons are nice as well.
Cons: Couldn't find an adapter to work with my iPhone 3GS, you cant seem to control track skip and stuff from the unit.. you have to use the remote or your phones screen. The top of the unit tilts back, so you cant see the buttons from bed.
Summary: I've been using this for almost a month now, and as for playback from my iPhone, I love it. It has no problem controlling playback and the sound quality is awesome. The alarm clock features are nice (although I wish it had the ability to set days, not just time). The remote control works pretty well too. The screen is extremely hard to read at an angle. Make sure wherever you put this thing that it faces your bed directly, otherwise, you won't be able to see the time.
Summary: Overall, I do really like it. The form is nice, the size is appropriate, it's a heavy unit, the sound is good, but seems like it should be louder given the cost. That said, the controls are nice, and it's pretty simple to set up. My only gripe, and it's significant, is this: It seems like the alarm is a bit sporadic in behavior.
Summary: I have been searching everywhere for weeks for an AM/FM alarm clock radio, Iphone 3GS compatible player and finally found it! No airplane mode annoyance. It has amazing features and fits perfectly on my nightstand (it is heavy for its small size). I have my Iphone 3GS in a leather case and it still fits in the cradle perfectly and charges easily. The location of the cradle is perfect when pressing the screen on my phone.I got mine for $130 with shipping.
Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Speaker for Ipod and Iphone

Summary: In the short time I've owned this product, I'm very impressed by the functionality and sound quality of the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Speaker unit. The instructions are written in a very intuitive manner and are easy to follow. My only "dis" is the LED display which is difficult to view unless you are looking directly into the display (not viewing it from an angle). For me, that's not a huge issue. I recommend it to others.
Summary: Sound quality is quite ample & good for your average size room. DC/DC transformer is too big, heavy, inconvenient & appears better suited for a device requiring much more power. The iPod to Logitech dock connection feels unstable even with the correct adapter in place. (May be an engineering weakness in all iPod/Dock devices) several times I had no sound after connecting the two devices. Resolution of problem: a sharp, moderately heavy tap straight down on the iPod!
Summary: Installed and set it up last week, since then it works great and provides good sound for the size of the system. The installation was easy and the FM radio connection is surprisingly good. Clear sound and very good connection. My neighborhood doesn't have good radio connection, but the Logitech system has no problems. We use it to charge IPhone overnight, which it does without a problem, it works flawless with the iPhone.
Summary: I've owned this product for about 1, and consider it a successful purchase. My priority list when determing which iPod alarm clock to buy was as follows: 1.Sound for iPod playback. Not audiophile quality, but it does a good job of filling the room at medium high volume. Seems to sound best with Jazz, but not a significant loss of quality when playing other genres. 2. Alarm Clock/Radio - functional. nothing spectacular with Pros and Cons.
Summary: This speaker works great! It's sound is good, it is easy to use and works well with the iPod. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the display slopes to the back and is hard to see for me since I don't have it on a night stand but in the kitchen/living area. It is on a high cabinet and I have to stand on my tippytoes to see the display, but I can use the remote so it is not that bad.
