Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 VS. Altec Lansing iMT620

Dr. Jekyll, Amazon
4 July 2010
  • Summary: I wanted a speaker dock that was the most portable with the best sound because I'm a very picky audiophile and it came down to the two evenly priced docks , the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 and the Altec Lansing iMT620.

iPhone 3GS

Sherrie Hockett, Amazon
31 January 2010
  • Summary: This is a nice system. The sound quality is adequate, these are tiny speakers, after all. The one thing that is lacking is a handle. It is supposed to be portable... It is a comfortable thickness to grab and carry around, but it is also slick, so it would be more secure if it had a handle.

More pros than cons, works with iPod Classic 120

David Regenspan, Amazon
24 August 2009
  • Summary: This item is often compared with the Altec600 in both professional and user reviews. The Altec usually wins out on sound, and unlike the Logitech Anywhere 2 it has an FM radio and a computer link. I just tried both, and agree that Altec is marginally better on sound.

How to stop speaker shut down...

Leo Da Vinci, Amazon
5 July 2009
  • Summary: Great little speaker system when you need something more than your laptop's speakers while traveling. But, the unit kept shutting down (turning off) every minute or so. I thought the Anywhere 2 must be defective and too late to do much about it in Panama.

Sounds Good. iPhone 3G compatible (sort of).

Leucadian, Amazon
6 April 2009
  • Summary: The product has very good sound for it's size and handily charges the iPhone 3G to boot. Two downsides to this product. although minor, are: 1) Remote control has limited distance capabilities to it and must be pointed nearly directly at the speakers to function.

Nice little unit

T. Hamilton, Amazon
4 March 2009
  • Summary: After using this product with my iPhone 3G for the last month, I have been pretty impressed. The battery holds its charge for a long time, though I have not tested it to see if it will go the 10 hours it claims.

Great Portable Option - Very Decent Sound

Troy M. Daniels, Amazon
13 February 2009
  • Summary: I've been using the older model of these for about 3+ years now, and now the newer pure-fi as well. I can say with certainty that this is a durable product that wont dissappoint. I can't imagine my camping trips without these speakers.

Great product...one flaw noticed

AJNathan, Amazon
20 December 2008
  • Summary: I looked at a few different docks and tried some at stores. By far this had the best sound. I also looked at reviews and this had great reviews. I love the sound so I give 5 stars for that..but one flaw brings the rating down to 4.

Review with iPhone 3G

Sam "Sam", Amazon
12 October 2008
  • Summary: I'm used to buying Bose or Altec Lansing but I wanted a small footprint with internal battery so it can moved around the house and also I could use it when going on longer trips outside. This was a perfect choice since it came with everything in a small package.

Another Great Logitech Product

Gene Bates, Amazon
18 September 2008
  • Summary: Logitech has a long running reputation for quality made innovative products and the Pure-Fi Anywhere is no different. I haven't compared it side by side to the MM50, which it replaces.
