Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere

CNET
20 February 2009
  • Summary: It may not be the most compact portable speaker on the block, but the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere offers useful extras and great sound for an affordable price.
  • Pros: The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere offers an understated, travel-friendly design that's compatible with both iPods and other MP3 players (via auxiliary line-in). The speaker sounds great; has a built-in, rechargeable battery; and comes with a travel case and an innovative wall charger. The included remote lets you navigate the iPod's menus.
  • Cons: The remote's range isn't very good, and the Pure-Fi Anywhere isn't as compact as many portable speaker options.

Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere

AskMen.com
8 August 2008
  • Summary: When Logitech decided to throw their respected name behind an MP3-player speaker, it was worth taking notice. Their original model, which was introduced nearly three years ago, was a worthwhile first-effort and the Pure-Fi Anywhere has improved on that concept while taking great strides to stand out in the jam of accessories for your MP3 player. Logitech continues its long-standing practice of sound design and innovation with its latest iPod travel speaker.

Logitech PureFi Anywhere review

Techworld
29 July 2008
  • Summary: Producing top quality sound and covering the full audio spectrum, the Logitech PureFi Anywhere enjoys better stereo separation than most. The remote control and travel case are nice touches, too. Down sides? Well the battery isn't replaceable, and the Logitech PureFi Anywhere is a little heaver - both in the arms and on your pockets.

Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere iPod Speaker Dock Review

3D Xtreme
4 December 2007
  • Summary: Making some slight refinements over the Logitech mm50, the Pure-Fi delivers with a bang. I use the Pure-Fi everyday – to charge my iPod and to listen to music during the day. I have taken it with me for overnight hotel stays and even to work. The Pure-Fi is very versatile and for the music lover is a great product.

Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere review

Stuff.tv
3 December 2007
  • Summary: Rather than the stale, unimaginative ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ mantra of many tech companies, we’re fans of the ‘take a really good thing, and make it much better’ approach. Judging by the Pure-Fi Anywhere so is Logitech, master of the portable speaker. We loved – and continue to love – this product’s predecessor, the mm50. But this little beauty is something else.

  • Conclusion: Like its blueprint, the Pure-Fi Anywhere is a solid performer. In fact, the new unit is even better, since it doesn't suffer from the same high-volume distortion as the mm50. In testing, the high-end clarity was nice -- triangles and high-hats sparkled over the mids without making things sound too bright. Vocals were warm and buttery, while bass response was tight.
  • Pros: Remote's range isn't very good, Not as compact as many portable speaker options.
  • Cons: Offers an understated, travel-friendly design that's compatible with both iPods and other MP3 players (via auxiliary line-in), Speaker sounds great, Built-in, rechargeable battery, Comes with a travel case and an innovative wall charger, Included remote lets you navigate the iPod's menus
