Summary: Bought these for the wifes laptop and iPod... this thing has great sound quality and its very portable. The stand is actually the case that covers and protects the front... which is very handy. Can use it plugged in or cordless on AA batteries. Got it a couple years ago and its still going strong. Worth the 20 bucks I spent.
Summary: I was surprised by how loud these speakers got and at the clear sound it produced. It was great how the wire tucked into the back of the speaker and how the plastic, protective cover rotated around to serve as a support for standing up the speaker. However, it didn't fit my needs as it was too wide and tall to be used in the small and unstable surfaces I use my computer. Also, it requires a AC cord and the cord that plugs into the computer is too short..
Summary: If you are a heavy traveler like myself and looking for portable speakers that are reasonably priced with great sound these are for you. They sound great with your computer, IPOD and/or other portable media device. They put out an amazingly good performance for their size and portability. Enough so that others in my profession (network remote television) have been extremely impressed by their performance.
Summary: I was really suprised by the strength of these speakers and how they can fill a room with sound. For speakers of their size, these slim speakers have fairly good bass and excellent mid and high. I do get some slight vibration in the base (stand) of the speakers if I play a song with strong bass at a high volume, but only at the highest volume levels.
Summary: Ok, so it's not Bose sound, but it's not half bad either. Better than any other little pair of cheap portable speakers I've seen. I've had mine for over a year now, and it's starting to look a bit beat up, but still works great. It travels well due to the plastic cover. Mostly, it lives at work where we ALL use it frequently.
Summary: These speakers are great for the money. They are easily packable but not pocketable. The sound is very loud plugged in an with batteries. Works great with an ipod or other mp3 device. Also works as an upgrade from your laptops underpowered speakers. The design looks sharp and the blue led power button is a nice touch. -1 star because at the highest volumes it rattles and the cable is a little short.
Summary: The sound is pretty good, especially if you can get it for under $20. The battery life is amazing. The only downside is the cord is too short and you need an extension (otherwise I would have given it 5 stars)
