Summary: I've given it 4 stars because it produced pretty good sound when connected to my laptop. The highs and midrange were very good but lacks a bit on the base side. Sounds distorts when set at full volume. At 3/4 volume it works great.
Summary: The only criticism I have of these speakers is one that many other reviewers have noted: the bass is weak. The depth of the bass will change a bit, depending on the surface you put the speakers on.
Summary: These speakers are worth the price (I paid under $25, shipping not incl.). Sound quality is great, volume is sufficient under most circumstances, and the batteries last a long time (takes 4AA's).
Summary: First the cons, which are few. The cord that connects the speaker to whatever input you're using is very short. I bought it to use as a portable speaker for my Zune, so that really doesn't effect me. The sound it puts out is actually very good.
Summary: This speaker serves its purpose wonderfully. I am not an electronic guru I go with basic stuff for my basic needs. I bought a small mp3 player with this speaker to use in my car. The sound quality is great but most importantly for me its convenience exceeded my desires.
Summary: These speakers are well worth the $20.00 I spent on them. Just hook your mp3 up to it with the cord on the back and they sound decent at low to mid volume. Can't quite handle the bass at high volume without a lot of distortion. Very handy to carry around and the batteries last at least 30 hrs.
Summary: These speakers are great for the money. They are easily packable but not pocketable. The sound is very loud plugged in an with batteries. Works great with an ipod or other mp3 device. Also works as an upgrade from your laptops underpowered speakers.
Summary: Looks nice enough to leave out on my desk. Great portability and protection. Sound quality is very good, but then I don't crank them or expect much low range. But why is the cord so short? I realize there was a consideration for the cord storage, but even an extra 6" would have been great.
Summary: Ok, so it's not Bose sound, but it's not half bad either. Better than any other little pair of cheap portable speakers I've seen. I've had mine for over a year now, and it's starting to look a bit beat up, but still works great. It travels well due to the plastic cover.
Summary: I was really suprised by the strength of these speakers and how they can fill a room with sound. For speakers of their size, these slim speakers have fairly good bass and excellent mid and high.
