Great speaker, except for one fatal flaw
14 October 2013
Summary: This is a great speaker overall. I use it for parties in a fairly large living room (2 floor vaulted ceiling, probably about a 15'x25' space), and it does great. Excellent highs and mids, and good bass. Setup is a breeze with the iOS app, and the airplay connectivity works great. The unit looks great and has a solid build quality.
Summary: The sound is ok, loud enough and sounds clear (below 75% and on a good wifi connection) and looks great, plus easy to set up. The downsides are: - the fact that it doesn't support older ipods or have the connection for future ipods/iphones.ipads, so is very 'current'. - Doesn't work with android phones or older computers - No remote control - Airplay only- one major problem for us in a shared house is that for every new connection from, say one phone to another, the...
Summary: As many of the reviews say this ain't a Zeppelin and the initial pricing from Logitech was very optimistic at over £300. The wifi radio is as others have suggested is quite poor and whereas every other wifi product works fine in my house the Logitech struggles. The UE speaker sounds a little boxy and tends to overdo the bass on the whole it's not too bad though. On the other hand if you can get this unit for under £90 it becomes pretty good value.
Summary: This unit has the looks. The sound is also great, but not as much bass as I'd like it to have. You can drive the sound up to its max without having distortion, at least I haven't had any problems with that. I would have given it a higher ranking if it came with a remote control. when it goes into standby mode, none of my iGadgets will wake it up. I have to press a button on the unit to make it come alive again. Maybe I have a faulty unit?
Summary: The first thing that struck me when I opened the box was that this is a very sleek piece of kit. There are no ugly protruding buttons; everything has been designed to be unnoticable. The sound quality is really good; even to my tone deaf ears there is a marked difference between this and my previous sound system. The volume also goes up nice and loud without compromising the quality. An ipod dock can eject from the speaker, so that you can sync them to it.
Summary: Rätt så ok för 990.- Hade dock förväntat mig betydligt bättre ljud m.a.p. ordinarie prislappen. Antar att AirPlay certifieringen kostar en del. Då blir det inte så mycket över till ljudkvaliten. Hade jag betalat 3000.- så hade den fått 2 stjärnor för pris/kvalite. Prova själv, alla har ju olika preferenser...
