Reviews and Problems with Logitech AirPlay Speaker

Great speaker, except for one fatal flaw
14 October 2013
Summary: This is a great speaker overall. I use it for parties in a fairly large living room (2 floor vaulted ceiling, probably about a 15'x25' space), and it does great. Excellent highs and mids, and good bass. Setup is a breeze with the iOS app, and the airplay connectivity works great.
Summary: This unit has the looks. The sound is also great, but not as much bass as I'd like it to have. You can drive the sound up to its max without having distortion, at least I haven't had any problems with that. I would have given it a higher ranking if it came with a remote control.
Summary: Needs a VERY reliable wireless network and then can be flaky on its connection to the source iPod/iPhone etc. Can take a while to get the connection established - which is a bit of a pain when you sit down and want to listen to some music.
Summary: As many of the reviews say this ain't a Zeppelin and the initial pricing from Logitech was very optimistic at over £300. The wifi radio is as others have suggested is quite poor and whereas every other wifi product works fine in my house the Logitech struggles.
