Great speaker, except for one fatal flaw
14 October 2013
Summary: This is a great speaker overall. I use it for parties in a fairly large living room (2 floor vaulted ceiling, probably about a 15'x25' space), and it does great. Excellent highs and mids, and good bass. Setup is a breeze with the iOS app, and the airplay connectivity works great.
Summary: I tested several stereos in the store before I bought this one. It sounded the best by far. I have been using it for almost a year, and I couldn't be happier. The sound is great, and it doesn't distort at high volume. I use it in my home office, and I also take it on trips with me (to hotels, etc).
Summary: This unit has the looks. The sound is also great, but not as much bass as I'd like it to have. You can drive the sound up to its max without having distortion, at least I haven't had any problems with that. I would have given it a higher ranking if it came with a remote control.
Summary: The first thing you notice about this Airplay dock is how well built it is. It has the look and feel of much more expensive product. Setup is very easy and once you have enabled Airplay you can play tunes off of your undocked iDevice or any networked PC running iTunes.
