Summary: I have been a fan of Klisch speakers for many years. When I foind the iGroove I was glad to see it as an alternative to the Bose Dockstation. I was searching for an iPod player with a remote that I can use in my music and teaching studio to teach my students songs from their personal playlists. I also wanted a device I could use to play along with. I had been considering the Bose. Even the reconditioned one was nearly $100.
Summary: This works terrific with the iphone 4S, and sounds great in a fairly large bedroom. The price is about 1/3 a Bose system. The small remote is helpful if you are in bed. Make no mistake, this is not a poor-sounding clock radio, but a full fledged stereo speaker system. It is convenient in that it charges the phone while it is in the dock. Took off one star for the need to add support behind the iphone, as others have commented.
Summary: I bought iGroove when Amazon had it on sale for $99. Came in via UPS 2 days later, popped my iPod touch into it and off it played. Sound: Decent, not groundbreaking, not offensive, but it's OK. For how small this docking station is, it has a lot of punch. I'm used to my floor standing Yamahas with 12" woofers, so my ear is hard to please. iGroove can fill in the bedroom with enough bass (which is usually a shortcoming in devices of this size.
Sound- Excellent. Remote and construction could be improved..

Summary: I have own this system, a bose soundwave radio and have experienced the sounddock for bose at family's house and can say that the sound on this machine is very good. I have not got a chance to put this side by side with the Bose but can tell you at normal volumes (not excessive that is), that this device performs very well. The bass is good quality and the treble is not tinny sounding.
Summary: If you know Klipsch like I know Klipsch, then you, of course, should not be surprised at the great sound. The bass is not exactly earth shaking, but with the type of music I'm currently listening to (Jazz, New Age, Alternative), it suits my bedroom just fine. I'm definitely hearing a wider range of sounds than before. The system itself is pretty small (a lot smaller than I expected) but with the nice sound coming out, I'm glad it's a space saver.
Summary: I purchased this unit to listen to my iPod while working away from my main sound system. The Klipsch has great sound and really fills the room. My only complaint is the remote controls are limited. I couldn't move between play lists using the remote - I had to go to the unit and use the controls on the iPod. Not a tragedy, just a missing benefit of an otherwise great value. I paid under $140 and think it sounds as good as the Bose.
Summary: I've been a fan of Klipsch for many years. The sound of their full-size speakers are about the best available in their price range. I took the gamble and purchased this unit without being able to listen to it and the Klipsch name paid-off. The sound quality for such a small unit is quite impressive. I had no need for AM/FM or any other bell and whistle since the iTouch has everything already inside it.
Quite Good, Not Quite Great (Comparison to Bose SoundDock)

Summary: Here's the quick. The Klipsch is quite good but not quite great. I performed my own side-by-side comparison of the Klipsch iGroove SXT ($149) to the Bose SoundDock Portable ($359). Bose * Richer, deeper more robust sound. Truly is impressive. * Touch volume buttons easier to push (vs. Klipsch mechanical buttons take a little force).
Summary: I baught this product couple of days ago. The sound quality is good and it is very easy to use. I was able play both my Iphone and Ipod very easily. Good thing is that it also charges them while connected. The only issue I find in this is the qulity of the docking station (the place where you put the Ipod/Iphone). It seems like if you press it little hard it will break. So you have to be careful not be press the Iphone/Ipod very hard on the connector point.
Summary: This docking station provides very good sound for a relatively small docking station; good value. Pros: - sound quality - adapters provided to allow docking with multiple iPods (standard, nano, etc.) - flexible power supply (110 - 240v) - small, credit-card sized remote Cons: - bulky "brick" power supply - will not charge 4th generation iPods - very short battery life with remote
