Summary: I read the reviews and thought that I could save a $100 over the cost of a Bose and get sound quality that was as good. Initially I was pleased, as I unpacked the unit it looked well made and was super easy to set up, even the first day of listening left me happy.
Summary: The iGroove SXT sounded good and worked as advertised for six months and then failed. At that point, neither Klipsch or the seller (SpddyS LLC) would do anything to make things right. I am now stuck with a useless product.
Summary: I bought this at the end of November 2011 as a Christmas present for myself. I loved it for about 7 weeks then noted a rattle in the right speaker...very annoying with any song with base. I did not drop or damage the igroove...nor do I play it loud...the noise started in the middle of a song.
Summary: I've been an admirer of Klipsch products since I saw the massive corner-horns when I was a kid. The construction was extraordinary, and the sound was even better -- as close to flawless as technology would allow.
Summary: The only way to make this item work as it is supposed to is to go to Radio Shack and buy a jumper wire. You connect your iPhone to the unit with the jumper wire and you can use the unit. However, the remote is worthless under these circumstances. I emailed the company and they were no help.
Summary: THE SOUND QUALITY IS JUST OK, NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT. THE REMOTE WORKS ABOUT 5% OF THE TIME, AND THAT'S BEING GENEROUS. I CONTACTED KLIPSCH "CUSTOMER SERVICE' ABOUT THE REMOTE PROBLEM, AND AFTER SWAPPING EMAILS FOR A WEEK AND PROVIDING PURCHASE INFORMATION, THEY SAY MAYBE THE RE-SELLER GALAXY...
Summary: I bought this 6 months ago and for no apparent reason the speakers have stopped working. I was also dissappointed that it doesn't charge and allow you to play it without it being plugged in. bummer.
Summary: I have received THREE of these. All of them worked for the initial charge and play. After that, no charge and no play. VERY disappointed. All 3 of these defective iGroove's were "Built from 2009, part number 1009098" which is supposed to work with the 3GS iPhone.
Summary: I purchased this product 5 months ago. Immediately, I didn't like the power cord. The connection will not fit properly (I'm assuming this is supposed to be a breakaway cord.) You must position the cord perfectly flat and level to maintain a connection.
