Summary: I've had this guy for over a year now. When I first received it, I noticed one of the speakers wasn't working. My girlfriend then accidentally dropped it between the dresser and the wall, and that speaker has worked ever since. Go figure! That's the only reason I'm giving this unit 4 stars instead of 5. On a related note that will only affect some of you, since updating my iPhone to the new 2.2.1 version, this is no longer recognized as a dock.
Summary: I receive this unit recently and was really surprise by the sound quality. Very good at low and medium voulume. But i was also somewhat disappointed to turn it up all the way because of a really sharp rattling noise. i got this for a little over 100$ and its worth every hard earn penny. It would be nice if it included a usb cord.
Summary: This puppy has a great sound for what it is - a micro unit. Don't expect it to sound like $500 speakers, because that's not what it cost. Speaking of which, definitely shop around. My buyer's club (BJ's) had it for $100, and I managed to get the last one, a display model that turned out to be perfect, for only $40. Even Amazon's price, though, is worth it for what you get.
Summary: Purchased this for my wife's b-day. I first used an mp3 player with the supplied cable and the sound was fantastic but the remote did not work. In the manual it says it only works with a docked ipod. I then tried using the supplied dock plates with my wife's Nano and the alignment is off and cannot get it docked using the plate. This was still ok since it fit snuggly without it. Unfortunatly, the remote still did not work.
Summary: I first heard this radial at an apple store and it has been on my wishlist since. Finally the price dropped to what I believe is reasonable so I added it to my ipod accessories. I do remember listening to the Micro and it wasn't nearly as good. My review won't be much different than what others have said. Now that this radial has come down in price, it is a great value. The sound quality is great for such a small package.
Summary: This is a super speaker for the size. I listen to mostly classical music, and I wanted something with a big sound. The bass and mid ranges don't disappoint, though the treble is a tad tinny. Definitely a good buy. Its good looks are a bonus.
Summary: After a girlfriend got his from her "techie" husband for her birthday, I was in serious desire for the rich sound that filled her master bedroom and sleek styling. The fact that this can connect to your computer has to make it a high school or college bound student's serious contender as well. The sound is rich and fills the room (it radiates- circle not unidirectional) compared to many of the others I've seen which just fall short.
Excerpt: I have tried and tested a few different speakers, and this item is good, but quite expensive. The design does look quite nice, but doesn't match the iPod/Apple colour, and does look a little cheap with the different panels. The sound quality is good for the price range. Also, it does lack some features compared to similar units. First, the design looks quite modern but the colour of the plastic isn't exactly the same as an iPod. This can make it look out of place.
