Summary: I bought the dock almost a month. I read all reviews and I decided to take the risk... I have faced same problems the people has reported but I have tried to solve them. I changed my wireless router for another one more powerfull because I have in my home 6 devices linked on it (JBL is the seventh).
Summary: I use this for both the built in alarm clock functionality and Airplay. Airplay I use it with my iPad without any issues. The sound is pretty good, but a bit thinner. Sound pretty much goes everywhere, so I would expect it does better in a small vs. large room given the limited power of the unit.
Summary: Ok--so I read the reviews and because most people weren't happy, I have kept this a few months to try it out because my experience was completely different and I thought maybe I was missing something.....but here it is a few months later and I still love it!!! I rarely dock my ipod as I just use the airplay over the wifi in the house and use my iphone or ipad or computer--setup took all of 5 minutes (but I did already know how to use airplay on the computer--not the ipod...
Summary: This advanced sound system with the ability to connect Apple gadgets and any other audio devices will look great in the office, at home and in a spacecraft. But its primary function - audio playback is just average, and thus makes this system unreasonably expensive. Design. The sound system looks alien and futuristic - something Luke Skywalker from "Star Wars" would use.
Nice way to get better sound from your iPod or computer

Summary: The JBL On Air Wireless can be used a few different ways, and each have pros and cons. Of course, it can play FM radio, so if you've been missing FM broadcasts, it's in there. If you connect to your WiFi network, it can even play Internet radio out of the box. More interestingly, it can play your collection of computer music, podcasts, audio books and so on.

Summary: Today, many of us have fantastic portable devices which store thousands of songs. We also use streaming applications such as Pandora or Sirius Applications. It would be great to stream this audio via AirPlay to a speaker in our kitchen, bedroom or office, from our pocket! Sometimes, we also need to dock our device to charge it. Enter the JBL On Air Wireless.
Summary: Apple has set a high bar for easy of use and setup, so in my view any accessory designed to work with an iPhone, iPad or iPod should be just as easy to use and set up. The JBL On Air meets the mark. Without even referring to the instruction manual, I was able to set up the JBL On Air, toggle through the menus, find my wireless network, connect, and then use my iPhone to stream music using AirPlay.
Summary: Easy to set up, clear menu / navigation system, great for docking/charging iPhone 4S and playing music both from docked iPhone 4S and using Airplay with iPhone 4S. Small glitch with using Airplay initially but resetting my router seems to have solved this problem. Sounds good, looks good, does what i bought it for and more and purchased at a great price...excellent!
