Choose something else. Obsolete when it was new, even more so now.

Summary: The design and technology this uses was obsolete when it was new (in early 2011), and it's even more obsolete now. There are many better options. Pros: - It's a nice radio with a real antenna, so it picks up FM stations well, including some harder to get stations. - The sound is reasonably good. Cons: - It uses only B or G wireless. Hello, Year 2000!
Summary: This looked and worked great for a few days. After 3 days Air Play stopped functioning. This seems to be the subject of many similar reviews. Would not buy again until this problem is sorted out and reviews improve.
Summary: I really wanted to love this product. I have never had much experience using an AirPlay product before and I was eager to use it in my Mac-laiden household. Unfortunately there are few positives to share about this JBL unit. First and foremost, audio quality is merely adequate. Highs are bright and well reproduced, I'm sure thanks to the recently sized tweeter that is concealed under the snooze button properly positioned up top.
Summary: Pros: Good sound quality, simple design, looks nice. Cons: Not user-friendly, overpriced, not portable. A few things to consider if you're thinking of buying this. First, there is no battery back up in the unit, so if you unplug it from the AC adapter your settings will reset. I know it's made to be stationary, but this can get annoying if you plan on moving it from room to room.
Some nice features but flawed by mediocre sound and high price

Summary: The JBL On Air Wireless is a clock radio with an iPod/iPhone dock connector. It also has an auxiliary input for use with non-Apple MP3 players, but make no mistake, this is primarily designed for use with Apple products. One of the strongest features is the eponymous "On Air" feature that allows one to stream content from an iTunes library on a remote computer via almost any WiFi network. This can be controlled directly from the base unit or with the included remote.
Summary: I've been having bad luck finding a good sound system for my iPhone. And this clearly isn't it. Yes, it's better than the last system I reviewed (click my name), which was nearly half the price - that one was terrible - but this one, for a lot more money with a great brand name is just so-so. Maybe it's the nature of the beast, but I swear my music sounds better at times coming out of my laptop than it does these devices. First off, the device is quirky.
Summary: I was looking forward to this item and was very surprised that it was defect and would not turn on at all. This always worries me and I have learnt to stay away from products that do not work first time so sent back for refund rather than replacement Shame it had all the functionality (in theory) I wanted
Summary: Sound just fine for my kitchen, however AirPlay is rubbish plays about 2 song then cuts off sometimes Dos'nt even connect in the first place, also even when playing the radio the screen goes white and you can't control it at all so I have to unplug/replug it again to start up again, looks stunning, but this is the same for every single jbl on air it's seems to be a software problem which they haven't released a update for :( just guess they don't care about there...
