Summary: This worked great and I used it once a month (for a total time of about 15 hours in 6 months - all indoors) and then it broke. UPDATE: 11 months after I bought it I decided to call the manufacturer and see if they can get it fixed - they simply sent me a new one the next day. All it took was 3 min for me to submit electronic support ticket and purchase receipt via their site. That is what I call a good service. Hence updating my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.
iLuv iSP100 vs. iLuv iSP110 speaker: A case where the lower number is the superior speaker.

Summary: Don't be deceived by the larger size of the iSP110 or the hype about the "unbelievable" audio from either speaker. The iSP110 is considerably larger (with plenty of storage room for player and earphones) and uses 2 AA batteries; the iLuv iSP100 is far more compact, stylish, detailed, using 3 AAA batteries to achieve, if anything, better audio gain and fidelity than the iSP110.
Summary: First of all, it's difficult to say to anyone that this thing rocks or has tremendous bass for it's size-common size sense tells us it's unlikely at best. That being said, this unit is great for what it is. Everyone hears things a bit differently and if you're used to using a subwoofer with your computer listening to music, you will undoubtedly be disappointed.
Summary: When this first arrived I was very disappointed because sometimes when you turned on it would work and sometimes it didn't, then it started this "squealing" noise that hurt your ears. I called and told Amazon it didn't work and withing two days they sent a replacement. WOW, was I impressed. The second mini speaker works great and I really love it. Very simple device, you can turn it on, off and - or + the sound volume and that all.
Summary: Sound quality is excellent FOR SPEAKERS THIS SMALL. I think many people who are very disappointed with the sound quality from speakers of this size expect way too much. I will say the volume or max volume is a little less than I anticipated, but you can increase the volume of the device it's plugged into to compensate. But overall, sound quality is better than most other mini-speakers out there. The overall design is very nice.
Summary: I recommend this product for anyone looking for a small, portable device to play music off an MP3 player. Put out enough sound to play over a crowd of 20 people comfortably. Not GREAT sound, but no rattle our audible audio issues.
Summary: I read a lot of reviews before selecting these little speakers and even though people wrote how great the sound was for their size, I was still skeptical. Well, the sound is just as good as described. It's clear and not tinny at all. My one complaint is that it's far too easy to accidentally turn the speakers on. The little 'on' bar sticks out so it can get pushed in with very little pressure.
Summary: This speaker has a very clear sound and is lovely to listen to. My friend has the other iLuv portable speaker (ISP110) and that speaker has a much heavier bass and a slightly more tinny sound. However, my speaker would not be loud enough outside especially in wind whereas the ISP110 is fine outside (partly due to the heavy bass). I prefer mine as it gives off a nicer sound but as I said, it is quite quiet.
