Summary: With the idea of replacing an old speaker system I used for my bedroom I decided to order the iHome Portable Speaker System. I incorrectly assumed I would be able to use it as a docking station for my iPhone, my bad for looking at the picture and not reading the product details.
Summary: For the most part I really like this speaker. There are many times that I find myself wanting a small portable speaker to carry around the house from room to room. Here are my thoughts on this item: Sounds Good- I think the sound quality for this little speaker is really good for it's size.
Summary: With so many iPod/Phone/Pad speakers out there it can be cumbersome to figure out which one to buy. If you are looking for one on the cheap, this may be the right one for you. It is small, light, and compact and easy to move around.
Summary: I wasn't impressed with the sound of this small rechargeable speaker system from iHome or the design. It plugs into your device via a 3.5mm jack that comes from the bottom of the speaker system. Then your device is placed on a small ledge in the front of the speakers.
Summary: After listening to a few songs on my iHome Portable Rechargeable Stereo Speaker System, I learned that the sound was really nothing at all to write home about. I understand it is not a Bose system, but still, I expected more. It is portable in size, but your iPhone just sits there on the ledge.
Summary: Unlike my iHome clock radio/iPhone doc, this speaker is sort of poorly designed. It as a ledge that my iTouch or iPhone can sit on, but there is no doc. This left me a little uncomfortable as I had recently demolished my old iPhone by dropping it on a hard surface.
Summary: The sound on this iHome portable Rechargeable speaker is okay. Not a lot of bass, but its a real small speaker. Was a little disappointed that it doesn't have any real mount for iPod/iPhone/iPad. It just sits on a lip in the front of the thing.
