Summary: I didn't read the description like I should have...and so, I wasn't expecting a kitchen timer. However, it does work well. The hide-able dock is nifty (except for the gen 5 iPods which don't fit because of the lightning thing) The sync button on the back is a life saver when your power goes out and the clock is screwed up. All you have to do is set your Ipod on the dock, press the sync button and Voila! Date/Time is restored. No hassle.
Summary: I am really happy with this Ihome...it has great sound....a sleek look....and very convenient..the only 2 things that bug me are 1- the timer I have no clue how to get it to work. 2-the remote has to be like a foot away for it to work! In any case I'm really happy with the product!
Summary: I use this as my alarm clock for my iphone. Set the time and it wakes you up to whatever playlist/song was last played. Has a lot of other nice features. You can press a button to sync the time to your iphone. It has an extra USB port in the back for charging another device. It has a magnetic remote that sticks to the speaker when not in use. It has a backlight and you can dim it by pressing the back arrow when nothing is attached. It has a couple timers that I dont use.
Summary: We wanted an inexpensive radio/iPod dock to tide us over whilst searching for a "decent" stereo system. The iHome iP39 more than fits the bill. The sound for radio and pop music on an iPod is very good for such a small box. However, it's not so great for classical music but hey, I don't think it was designed for that. Excellent features: dimmable display, alarm, timers. Big plus is the universal voltage - we can use it when we return to the UK. Yippee.
Summary: I bought this for my bathroom, mostly for the radio but to also have the option of using an iPod. I like the fact that it's made to be cleaned easily (flat buttons, hiding dock) since electronics in the bathroom can get wet and dusty and I didn't want the dock to get yucky. But where are the presets for the radio? This seems like a pretty severe oversight - I can't think of a radio I've owned for the past 25 years that hasn't had presets. Seems like a silly oversight.
Summary: Ordered this for my mom for Christmas as an accessory to her new iPhone 4S we got her for Christmas, as well. We recently had to recycle our little CD player/radio we kept in the kitchen because it stopped working properly. I was searching for something that we all could use to listen to music while cooking and cleaning but would take up little space. I also wanted something my mom would be able to dock her iPhone for charging, instead of a standard wall charger.
Summary: This product is very well designed for kitchens; it has a small footprint for crowded countertops and includes all the features you'd need and want short of something that is far more expensive. PROS: The drawer for the iPod mount can be tucked away when you don't need it. The magnetic remote stays conveniently close by but is nonetheless unobtrusive by clinging to the side of the unit. The buttons are quickly mastered. The display is easy to read.
Summary: Great design that works in all areas of your home. Good sound too. Has a dimmer for the light which is really nice. Simple to use and exceeds my expectations. Only bad thing is it has a big ac adapter and a 2"x 1" electrical cylinder thing close to the model.
