Summary: I was so excited when I bought these as I live in the Caribbean and was having trouble sourcing good bluetooth speakers at a good price. Found these and thought they looked nice. Got them yesterday and the experience has been horrific! I tried testing it out as per the manual.. didnt work. Decided to charge it overnight before attempting to use it again. After 12 hours of charge I still cant get it to power on!
Worst Product Experience Ever; Amazon Support Is Amazing
Andrew M Mikolajczyk, Amazon
4 December 2013
Summary: This was literally the most awful product experience I've ever had. I always heard ihome was a good brand so I went for it. I got it first one was broken. Amazon is amazing and sent a new one instantly. This one came dead on arrival too. I felt bad having amazon send me a new one again so I tried to go through ihome customer support. Big mistake. They were useless. They wanted me to pay them to ship it and fix it. Amazon lets me ship it back for free.
Summary: I love these speakers a lot. The battery in them lasts a long time and is easy to just plug in and relax to the music. The sound quality isn't the best in the world, but it doesn't dissappoint, especially considering the price of the speakers.
Summary: I finally figured out that these speakers don't work at all until completely charged the first time. Now they work fine, tho it's a pain to have to "discover" them each and every time I use them. Still, for the money, the quality Is high.
Summary: These are pretty good speakers for the price that you are paying for. They're nice and loud and have okay sound and bass. It makes a weird scratchy sound most of the time especially in when there's any bass or low frequencies. There is no skip track button or any way to skip the track from the speakers directly. I tried pressing play twice thinking it would skip the track but it does not do so.
Summary: I bought a pair of idm15's two years ago. The sound is very good mostly because of the stereo separation effect from having two speakers. But be warned - the rechargeable battery lasts about two years, and iHome will charge you $40 to replace it. I decided for $40 I would buy another speaker and I'll put these in the recycling.
