Summary: If you treat it as intended, suitcase to hotel end table, you'll be rewarded by great sound that's packable. Yes, doesn't look like it will take rough treatment. Wish they didn't try to get deep bass out of it, though. It just distorts trying. Midrange and treble is really high def. I run it off a phone.
Summary: I tried using my iphone as my primary alarm, but after about a week I would shut it off and just go back to sleep. This is the primary reason why I bought this and it solved my problem! on top of being useful as an alarm, the Geneva works well as a portable speaker. The sound quality is much better than you would expect and the design makes it very easy to transport. If you have the same trouble I did waking up in the morning then buy this.
Summary: I own several Tivoli Songbooks, and have owned my Geneva XS since late July (2012). So it's been a month now, and I still haven't decided which I like best. I've taken the XS, rather than the Tivoli, on two week-long trips. This is because the XS is about half the size of the Tivoli, and can retreat into its shell. Unlike other reviewers, I've had no hinge problems. The XS on Geneva's website is rated at 12 watts, yet its top volume sounds comparable to the Tivoli.
Summary: This product is AMAZING!!!! it comes easily built. It is booming loud. Alot louder than anything I have ever seen that is portable. It is so easy to setup with the bluetooth, it plays ALL types of products. Enjoy this!
