Elegant look, powerful sound, simple design, make this an ideal compact stereo system for the living room

Summary: Back in the day, actually before my time, televisions and stereos were designed to be both functional and beautiful - they were considered furniture, an essential complement to a well-designed room. Now, of course, function trumps form for most electronic gadgets, and most are ugly. With the advent of flat screen LCD televisions at least they don't look like the hulking monstrosities that overwhelm the room like the big TVs of the past couple decades, but it's still true...
Summary: What can I say that others have not - nothing really! So I will just add that this is an amazing product. Yes, a bit pricey, but at the end of the day well worth it. The sound quality is phenomenal for such a relatively small package. If you turn it up all the way it will literally blow you out of a room! I've also heard the XL and couldn't believe its power (too much for me if I wish to continue getting along with my neighbors).
Summary: I was just about to buy the model L when I read that they had improved the cabinet controls of the M model. Have they improved the controls in the L model as well? Do Amazon have the already improved L model? Let me know please. Thanks in advance.
Summary: I bought the small sound system for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. Trouble is, one wasn't enough. So now we have two and would consider adding a third. We got the lipstick red, and everyone comments on how beautifully designed it is. Sound is great. Great product.
Summary: I just received this and in the day I have used it I am quite impressed. The sound is everything I had hoped for and more. I have listened to a re-mastered Beatles album in mono and loved it. The voices were projected out into the room and the instruments sounded as if they were behind the singing. It is a stunning looking piece of furniture. Someone in another review complained of the glue staying behind when you peel off the protective plastic.
Summary: I must pass on my feelings about the GenevaSound L . I also stumbled upon the system whilst mixing an album in New York at 'Electric Lady'. I was immediately impressed by both the look and sound of the Geneva. At first I thought it could be a mono unit but was happy to hear that it was in fact a good stereo sound. The thing I like most about it is the frequency response. It's a crisp clear bright sound, but the bass response is still strong and defined.
Summary: I have had several IPod docks prior to this one, and they have all been TERRIBLE. Most docks have a inferior sound for a premium price. This unit is incredible! I currently use it as an IPod dock, to play CDs, the radio, and I even have it connected to my computer to act as computer speakers. The sound is fabulous. It fills up any room. This one little unit is better than some of my friends surround sound systems.
Summary: I am a professional musician and music producer who demands excellence in sound reproduction. I own two Geneva sound systems - an L for home and an M for my office. The L replaced my home stereo about a year and a half ago. I'm extremely happy with the purchase. At high or low volumes (high when my wife is out of the house) the sound reproduction is outstanding. I use all the functions (CD player, ipod dock and FM radio) on a daily basis.
Summary: From the moment you get the speaker you know its something special. Everything is packed in so carefully in a smart red box and all you have to do is plug one cord in and it works, so it's really easy to install. My old stereo had cable salad in the back on Geneva you have one power cord and no other cables. This all-in-one sleek and stylish home stereo with iPod dock, CD player, and FM radio is a fantastic product.
Summary: I recently helped my son purchase the Model L for his apartment. He is an architect and, being very conscious of design, would not consider any other machine because of its design simplicity. He also loves music (especially classical and techno) and listens as he works -- virtually from morning till night. We bought the Model L in black, and it is as beautiful and simple as it is functional and elegant musically.
