Summary: for the money you pay for this thing, you could get a much better sounding ipod speaker. However, that speaker wouldn't be portable or have an internal battery. I guess it depends on what you want. I'm a teacher and I like this thing since I can easily lock it in my desk at the end of the day...
Summary: I garden quite a bit and love to listen to audio books. Gardening typically involves movement that continually dislodges earphones leading to a regular annoyance. I wanted to find a great speaker for my iPod that could fit in my shirt pocket and allow me to listen without earbuds.
