Summary: Loved it...until it blew out in less than a year. It's not like I was cranking it up every day, either. Sounds terrible now unless I play the music really low. Too bad, I really liked it. It's super cute and sounds great.
Excerpt: Good deal on total price at B&H. The speaker itself is a yawner.Looks good but the sound is really lacking in any bottom at all. Sounds like it needs some insulation inside the plastic enclosure.I turned down the mid range freqs and it sounds somewhat better. Price is good but not recommended.
Excerpt: Great sound, until it cuts out above 75% volume, needing Bluetooth re-linking, and a volume reduction. When wired, the sound cracks all over the place above 75% volume. Great sound at moderate volumes though...
Excerpt: I use the D100 with my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro. It has a strong bass sound and plenty of volume. The only drawback is it needs to be placed in a way that other devices don't give it a feedback hiss. Sometimes I can't get rid of it so resort to headphones. Kind of defeats the purpose as there is always some other electronic device nearby. Even got the noise in my truck with the radio off. Look for another bluetooth speaker system.
Pros: Easy to Mount, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output
Summary: For all of the positive reviews, I was expecting at least passable sound. Nope. The speaker weighs about as much as a peacocks feather, so there really is nothing in the unit that could produce sound with any quality. Admittedly the bluetooth connection was simple and reliable, so if that is all your looking for, have at it. Two stars for the bluetooth. I already had low expectations as the price is low.
Summary: Everything worked well until it suddenly started booting my iPhone connection at about 6 months old. Won't even stay connected with the cord. I've tried it with different iPhones and it does the same thing just dropping the conenection after a minute or so. We'll see how Creative is with the one year warranty and I'll report back.. It did have great sound when it worked...
Excerpt: I broke my Supertooth Blueant wireless speaker by pluging in the wrong charger. Stupid me. So I read the reviews on this Creative 100 speaker system, purchased at the NY store and was disapointed after hearing the sound. My old speaker blew this away. The Supertooth Blueant M1 speaker is smaller, better bass, more controls. This will be returned.
Summary: I purchased these speakers last December. The Creative D100 is a sweet little speaker system. It's light weight even loaded with batteries. The sound is quite good. The batteries last a reasonably long time. It paired easily with the iPod Touch & iPad. The speakers are fabric-covered, so I have to be careful using them in the kitchen (trying to avoid stains). The only fault I've found is that these speakers WILL NOT pair with Windows 7!
