Summary: This speaker has substandard sound for an exceptionally high price. And it's HUGE. Creative has declined in the quality of it's products considerably in the last 10 years. This speaker is a prime example.
Summary: By Gail E I've had this speaker for about three months, used it sparingly. It worked fine in the beginning, but now the sound is very distorted and filled with static. Maybe I got a lemon, but if you decide to get this product - keep the box in case you need to return it.

I am unable to get any sound out of the speakers which is a bust as well as a waste of money. Not sure what happened but it died so based on my experience I do not recommend this product.

Summary: Suitable for news, I guess. Definitely not for music. At $35 it was worth it to be able to stream an NPR from the other coast off the wifi in my bedroom to the speaker in my kitchen, but it;s not good enough for music. At least any music you care about.
