Wireless sound system that is also a handy iPod dock

Excerpt: My other half had been eying up the Zeppelin for several years and I finally took the plunge and bought him one for Christmas. I bought it from John Lewis for £449, but check their website because they also sell Grade B stock (this is returned and refurbished stock) for £399. Both version come with a 2 year guarantee. We have the latest model (as of December 2012) Zeppelin Air which includes the AirPlay function.
Summary: Seems expensive for what looks like a bit of metal, but once unpacked it is a rather substantial and solid bracket. It needs to be as the Zeppelin is quite heavy. It also can be used for the previous model, just be sure to follow the instructions as to which method of fixing you use as they are both different.
Excerpt: I, like many, have been through many means of playing music from my iPod/iPhone in my bedroom...connected it to the back of my Hi-Fi via Auxiliary cable, had it connected directly to portable speakers and a couple of docks. They all play the music, yes, but when it comes to audio i'm a bit picky to say the least. I like to have a room filled with high quality sound that I can crank up when desired.
Very expensive but will not disappoint - worth the investment!

Excerpt: I spent absolutely ages in John Lewis (much to the annoyance of my girlfriend) trying to comparing several iPod docks from the major manufacturers in this field. Now I'm writing this review so you don't have to! The main thing that has to be considered when investing in a piece of kit like this is of course the sound quality.
Excerpt: Im not a techy bod, so im writing this for the layman, because thats what I am. Whilst attending a wedding in brighton, we stayed in a hotel for several days on the marina for a few days and when we walked in I saw this huge black traffic cone sitting on the table, I didnt know what to make of it at first thinking it was some sort of alien craft..
Excerpt: Our front room, and more exactly how to fill it with sound, had long been a subject of discussion in our household before this B & W solved the debate that had been raging between me and my other half for quite a while. I've got to admit that hi-fi equipment is not my area of expertise, and I don't know my tweeter from my midrange frankly (so stop reading now if you are looking for that kind of review), however I do know that whilst I do want to be able to listen to...
Summary: i've had the zeppelin for few months now and its still amazes me . i didnt even own an ipod when i saw it but got one just so i could buy the zeppelin. at first i thought the bass was far too much but as i hadnt owned an ipod i didnt really know what i was doing with the sound options but once you sort the bass out and ignore your neighbours constantly complaining about the noise its unreal .
