Summary: I've owned one of these players for a little over a year and I can recommend it based on sound quality and power. My only complaint is the rather standard-sized transformer pack (separate from the unit), but this is an issue with most similar units. I didn't realize this when I purchased this item, but it has an in-built battery that allows it to play for at least an hour after it is unplugged.
Summary: Have had this for over a year and am very happy with it. Audio quality is excellent at mid volume upwards and it really goes very loud. Only issue i have is that on a low volume it sounds pretty average.
Summary: If you are looking for a premium iPhone speaker you wont be dissapointed. The sound quality is awesome, excellent tone balance and definition. I have tried it with jazz, rock, r&b, vocals and classic and the sound is definitely pure hi-fi.
Summary: The music this little guy puts out ,is beyond amazing, it actualy gave me goose bumps, the clarity and depth will blow you away, the eight hour battery is a huge bonus, making it portable ,now I want another one. as you can stream music, from your ipod, to up to four rcubes!
Summary: Firstly, I apologize for the long review but surprisingly there are very few reviews for this device, so I wanted to cover a lot. Once you get in to the realm of hi-fi and niche audio equipment you are dealing with users who have a very particular taste in what they want. They aren't willing to grab whatever ipod music player is on sale at Costco.
Summary: This holidas I wanted to pick a great sounding dock that also looks good for daily use. So, looked at high end Sony RDPX500iP, Bose SoundDock 10, and B&W Zeppelin Air. Just when I was all set on Bose, I listened to Sony and thought it sounded better than Bose for almost half the cost. Before I decided on Sony, I continued my search and checked out B&W Zeppelin Air, Monster Beats iDock - yes, even Monster :-), Philips, Yamaha, etc.
Summary: Out of all the iHome,iThis,iThat, itheotherthing, this is the most outstanding portable player for a audiophile. Compact and portable, I can carry this to any part of the house, inside/outside and just rock out. Plenty of volume without distortion and good bass without getting too nuts. So easy to use even the wife has been caught slinking off with it. Ipod connection was a snap and the remote very responsive.
Summary: I have had several ipod docks including the overpriced and overated Zeppelin (boomy and hollow) and the Bose Soundock (too much midrange) which to be honest all pale into insignificance compared to the Rcube. The sound is full and richly detailed, but placement is key to achieving best results. It easily filled my 18" x 20" room with sound beautifully at just over two thirds volume. I got my Rcube with an Rwand and Rwave and both are excellent.
