Summary: Had my rcube for about 16 months, a few weeks ago the touch control panel on the unit stopped working then the internal battery packed up. Then i could"nt get it out of standby thereby making it unplayable.I took it back to the hifi shop i got it from and they were more than helpful. It was still under warranty so thankfully did,nt cost me anything. Arcam replaced the internal battery and fixed the faults. This has,nt put me off the rcube.
Summary: Really good sound for such a small box, with ipod connected sounds brill, only takes old apple connection not the iphone5, i use the arcam rwand so have portable music anywhere & stream spotify from laptop, now reduced good buy, but does not do bluetooth. Versatile little box.
Summary: Amazing sound, although the battery life is somewhat disappointing. Also the remote did not work at first as the supplied battery was empty. Sometimes my IPhone is not well seen, but it looks like this has to do with dirt in the connector. On the Ipod it always works and the sound is simply fantastic.
Summary: I wasn't surprised by the quality of the sound from this product as I knew it would be good from previous reviews. However Was amazed how deep the bass was even with the bass booster off. The product is heavy but extremely portable and ideal if you want to experience quality sound when on the move or room to room in your house. Well worth the money.
Summary: I've had the rcube for nearly a year and bought it for a bargain 299quid. Excellent product that I heartily recommend for the money. Don't pay more though. Only problem is that I have now bought an iPhone 5 with the new lightening connector. I will need a new wand to connect to the iPhone socket. Oh, and it looks great too.
Summary: I have had my rCube for 14 months now and I can honestly say its one of the best purchases I have ever made. Sound, to my ears, is sublime, its just a shame I live in a semi-detached house as I can't crank it up to the max as often as I would like. I have both the rWand and the rWave adapters for it too. The rWave connects to your iPhone/iPod (old connector) and provides a wireless conection which is ok in the same room.
Summary: Tested a few of the better quality docking stations and plumped for this over the Zeppelin primarily as I found the sound 'warmer' and less bass heavy than the Zeppelin. I also prefered the more restrained styling of the rCube and the fact that you could use your iPod classic to stream from. No hesitation in strongly recommending this!
Summary: After a lot of deliberation and searching I dived in and purchased the Rcube. I was looking for a quality wireless streaming product that I could take outside in the garden or move around the house but with great sound. I did consider the B&W Zeppelin Air but at approx £150 less the Rcube was more appealing.
