Altec Lansing Moondance Glow

PC Magazine
26 June 2009
  • Conclusion: An iPod dock-alarm clock with some interesting built-in ambient lighting and a wireless Snooze controller, the Moondance Glow has a few flaws but is an overall solid device.
  • Pros: Wireless Snooze control. Quality audio output. "Mood" lighting turns the wall behind the dock different colors.
  • Cons: Remote control offers limited iPod navigation. Audio distorts at high volumes. Only four radio presets.

Altec Lansing Moondance Glow Review

LAPTOP Magazine
1 April 2009
  • Summary: In the $129 Moondance Glow, Altec Lansing offers up an interesting take on an iPod alarm clock. The Moondance Glow's ease of use could be improved somewhat, but its fun extras--such as its ambient lighting--put it above competitors such as the iLuv iMM173. Add to that good sound quality and an interesting design, and the Moondance Glow makes for a decent choice.
  • Pros: Easy-to-use touch controls, Good sound quality, Display shows song information
  • Cons: Flimsy iPod dock, Odd shape

Review: Altec Lansing Moondance Glow

24 December 2008
  • Excerpt: (1 items) You wouldn’t necessarily think of the alarm clock as a technology category desperately in need of sexing up, but Altec Lansing would beg to differ. The company’s new Moondance Glow incorporates quality audio performance into a bedside unit that features sleek lines, touch-sensitive controls, and more. But while the unit comes with a hefty helping of features, it’s not without its share of quirks.
  • Pros: Attractive appearance, Additional snooze remote, Good audio performance, Solid FM reception, Many options for display and alarms
  • Cons: Some features are only accessible from the remote control, Touch-sensitive controls are hard to use, but easy to trigger by accident

Altec Lansing Moondance GLOW

Laptop World
26 March 2010
