Greatest Boombox ever!

Summary: I studied portable stereos for a long time, purchased others, including Bose, and returned them all. I’ve had this for 2 years now and now the running joke is that I am invited to a lot more parties now, and they always ask if I’m bringing the music.
Summary: I am very impressed with the quality of sound that comes out of this machine. I have had it for over a year and have never had an issue with its functionality. I use this as my central device for my music, video games and movies and am very pleased with the quality of sound from each of these uses.
Summary: OMG this Box Rocks as soon as its turned on you can feel the deep rich sound in the room. Then turn it towards the wall and you have major sounds resonating throughout the room. I'd like to see a rechargeable model with a charger on deck.
Summary: Like the other reviews say, this boombox rocks!!! It's rare when a product lives up to the hype, hence the review. I took this on vacation with many people so we would have music at a rental house. Every one was shocked at how much good sound it put out!!
Better than Harman Kardon and Pioneer! Awesome Sound!!

Summary: I've obsessed over finding the best sounding iPod/iPhone docking sound system and currently own 3 higher-end systems:Harman Kardon Go + Play, Pioneer Audition Series XW_NAS3-K, and this Altec Lansing imt800.
Summary: I'll keep this short and sweet. I bought this for use with my iPhone and it works without a hitch. PRO: - Battery life is PHENOMENAL! I have used two sets of batteries with over a week of continued use. It far surpasses any other boombox I've had in this respect. - Sound quality is superb.
Summary: I listen to a lot of bass heavy music. The IMT800 has very rich sound in the low end and very crisp highs and mids. I've heard sounds on the boombox that I haven't with my Sennheiser HD 438 headphones. I love every aspect of this device except the lack of rechargeable battery.
Summary: From what I had read, there were some folks who thought this unit looked too much like a ghetto blaster from the 70's. Now that I have one, I think they're completely off base. It looks just fine. Actually, it looks almost hi-tech. What everyone was right about was the sound quality.
Summary: My first review I've ever written in my life. No product has charmed me enough to inspire writing a review. This box has better sound quality than my bose speakers on my regular stereo in the bass tones. I coach and bring it to practices.
Summary: This product is not just for iPhone and iPod. It works well with any MP3 player with the two auxiliary ports convieniently placed right on the top of the unit and two short cords included that fit your MP3 player jacks.
