Great as a boombox, but that's all!

Summary: So, when my Bose SoundDock died, I was so disgusted I decided to get something else, and got the Altec Lansing iMT800 instead. Well, it turns out that there's a very good reason it's called a "boombox," and there's a good reason all the ads for it show it being used outdoors at a barbecue party...
I love it; until the power adapter inside of it broke.

Summary: I love this speaker system for the iPod and iPhone and would buy it all over again if I had to do it again. The sound is clear and has plenty of bass. The speaker system was bulilt so that you do not get interference from the cellular network when playin music through an iPhone.
The loud volume and deep bass produced by this unit were perfect for this use

Summary: I've had this unit for a couple of years. I kept it next to my drum kit to play along with my iPod music. The loud volume and deep bass produced by this unit were perfect for this use. Other boom boxes I've owned just couldn't cut through the drums but this one did easily.
My first one arrived "virtually" DOA; its replacement seems okay

Summary: IMT 800 Salut les mougeeks, Je viens d' acheter ce superbe appareil chez Macway (250) euros .C'est ab so lu ment génial ! Ghetto blaster pour iPhone par lequel tu peux écouter tes podcasts ou iTunes avec une EXCELLENTE QUALITE , ainsi que 4 stations FM préprogrammées(que 4 ! ),télécommande.
Pros: Beau son mais trop de graves . . . un comble ! mais a un équaliseur + celui de l'Iphone
