Summary: Pretty powerful sound that will more than fill most rooms, reasonable base and good treble. Relatively portable between rooms. The remote and lights that show the unit is responding to the remote are handy. We have a Nano, and unfortunately this model does not charge the Nanos. So we end up with a drained Nano battery quite often. This is the one drawback to the unit.
Altec Lansing Speaker System for iPod, M602 Speaker System

Summary: My wife recently won an iPod Nano, and loves it. She wanted to hear it without earpieces, and I enjoy most of the same music she does. I gave in in a lot of cases.... She was in KMart a few days after receiving her new toy, and bought a $25.00 speaker. It was cheap, and you get what you pay for, and sounded tinny.
Summary: I bought this and completely eliminated my old stereo system. I've owned mine for almost 2 years and have no complaints about the unit quality of the sound quality. My only issue is with the particular way you have to sequence the plug-in so that it will work. It's not often that I move the unit to another location, but when I do I have to figure it all out again. Minor problem though. I would definitely recommend this product and buy other Altec Lansing products.
Summary: Orderded for my teenage daughter. This item is a nice size, not to big not too small. Sleek package. Sound is excellent! Perhaps not high-high end, but as good a sound as one would experience with headphones. Speakers have nifty blue LEDs in the speaker grill that light when adjusting volume to show level. I gave this unit 4 stars based on its high performance in relation to its price, which would have been worthy of 5 if it had a remote.
Summary: Sounds good, good bass and treble I save 100 bucks compare with the bose. The only issue is that if you have one of the old ipods (20GB), it will vibrate because the ipod gets in contact with the speaker.
Altec Lansing M602: Music While You Lounge / Entertain
5 December 2010
Summary: The Altec Lansing M602 is an ideal piece of equipment for any living room. At its most basic level, it is a basic speaker which offers good value for money, especially if given as a present to students who may use it to throw parties in environments where it may be easily damaged. The speakers themselves are well-constructed, with a connected dock allowing for an iPod to be connected and charged while playing.
