Summary: I wanted something simple to play my music with while I'm in the kitchen. Very simple to use. I did not need to download anything as the directions suggestion. I simply plugged it in and turned it on. Voila! I have had it since 9/17/11 and so far so good. The sound quality is better than I expected. Some reviews said it was "tinny". Some said there were problems with the bass. I have no such problems. Great product for a Great price.
Summary: With not much available for the Sansa I read the reviews and bought this unit. It looks well made and was easy to set up. The sound quality is better than I thought it would be. It will fill a room at a mid level volume. Going real loud will cause some distortion depending on song and the EQ settings on the Sansa unit itself. The speakers will sound better as they break in I'm sure. All in all a nice dock for the Sansa.
Speaker System for Sansa Fuze--An Excellent Product
A. Day "U Can Beat Cancer!", Amazon
7 April 2011
Summary: Easy set up, great sound, perfect connection to my Sansa Fuze. What more could anyone ask for in a reasonably priced, compact unit? We'll probably take it on vacation so we can choose the music we want instead of settling for what's available.
Summary: I bought this speaker for my first MP3 player 3 months ago. I wanted something pretty good, as I never intend to listen to my MP3 player anywhere except in my kitchen. We have a medium size home with an upstairs and loft area, and the speakers can easily be heard clearly all over the house, even when they are not blasting. I think the sound is great for what I need them for and it is at a good price.
Summary: I recently bought these speakers since I wanted something better than my computer to play music in my living room. It's pretty much all that I could ask for - it's easy to set up (you do have to download some firmware but it's quick and easy), the sound is great (I'm no expert in sound quality, but it sounds fantastic to me and others who have heard it agree), and it's small and inobtrusive in my living room.
Summary: I must admit that when it comes to accessories, I get a case of "Pod Envy" as I walk through the store and see all of the cool things made for I-Pods. But this little speaker system made for Sansa .mp3 players is really pretty nice. The fidelity is terrific. The volume capacity isn't huge, but if I want to really rock out at home, I wire the sansa into my home entertainmnet system anyway.
Summary: I don't know if the unit I got was a lemon, but it had very poor amplification even with the latest firmware on the e260. Returned it for the Altec Lansing IM4, which met my expectations for sound but the IM4 doesn't have a cradle that recharges while connected. All of these systems seem over priced for what you get.
