Turns off spontaneously

Summary: Bought in Jan 2011 but I have not gotten any real use out of this ipod dock. It works but only for 20 minutes or so at a time. Then it turns itself off. I thought the problem was something I was doing wrong but if so, I can't figure it out. Some months ago I found instructions for fixing this problem (which other people seems to have too) on the internet but now I can't find those instructions again.
Summary: I'm using the iMT320 in an office environment with an iPhone 3GS. While the sound is quite good given the size of the unit, the design and ergonomics force me to give this a middling review. First, the positive: 1. The sounds is good (though I listen at a modest volume and I'm not being too picky), and the shielding from GSM buzz is very nice 2.
Summary: There are a few basic flaws with this product that every potential buyer should know. The most egregious is that the device has an auto-shutdown feature that will automatically power it off after a few minutes if it isn't playing music from your iPod or iPhone's iTunes from the dock. This means, firstly, that while you can plug a device in through the product's audio in jack, it will only play for a few minutes before the product powers itself off.
Summary: Good: AUX input. Battery powered and mobile, flip cover for travel, doesn't buzz on AT&T network, loud. BAD: when its plugged into an outlet it automatically powers off when nothing is being played for a few minutes and when you turn it back on, it does not retain the volume level setting you were previously using! Very annoying. It needs a remote. The button are poorly located directly behind your device where they are hard to see and get to.
