Summary: I bought this from Amazon after checking it out in our local Radio Shack store. The price at Radio Skack was about $50.00 more then Amazon. It is the exact same model that the Shack had. We wanted to test out the sound quality and to see if the Ipod hooked up OK, which it did. We have a Ipod touch 4th generation and some of the docks didn't fit the Ipod properly. This one was perfect. The sound quality is fantastic for such a small piece of equipment.
Summary: Two years ago I purchased an Altec Lansing inMotion Max. Since this one worked so well I thought that I would get another for the garage. I decided on this unit as it is a little smaller and easier to use. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sound is actually better than the earlier model despite it being more compact and portable. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable ipod dock.
Summary: I tested many iPod players at a superstore, raising the volume steadily on each unit until I got distortion. This unit was the best in cranking out loud, undistorted, well balanced audio. It especially excels at clarity. The bass is slightly light, but still was better than other units which distorted bass at lower sound levels than this unit. Highly recommended.
Altec Lansing iMT620 vs Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2

Summary: OK, I didn't see this particular comparison or any reviews that could convince me one way or the other. I tested both of these extensively at Best Buy with both volumes cranked so I could get a clear picture of the differences. The first things I did notice was a bit more bass coming from the logitech, but it didnt seem to turn up as loud as the Altec. After switching to different music styles, from classic rock, to metal, to rap I started to notice some things.
Summary: I did a lot of research on docking stations before I bought this one. I was a little worried because it was more than I wanted to spend. It was well worth the money! I love the lightweight, portable aspect of this - the handle is a big plus! It can be place in different positions. I also love the fact that I can take it around the house for about 5 hours before it needs to be plugged in again to charge. My kids love it!
Summary: I purchased two of these Altec Lansing iMT620 docking stations for my kids. One has a 4th gen Nano and the other a new iPod touch and the station works great with both, charges both units when docked and the sound is great. Having the radio tuner is an added plus. I've got nothing but good things to say about this product, it works great!
Perfect for your desk, the kitchen counter, bedroom -- or take it to a small gathering to rock out or relax with some cool jazz

Summary: The iMT620 works perfectly with both my iPhone and my iPod. My video review runs through most of the details -- one thing I left out is that if you have your Bluetooth earpiece handy, it automatically pauses during a song and allows you to take the call. When you hang-up, the music kicks back in. A very nice feature!
