Good, but lacks some important features compared to IM-600

Summary: I own both the 600 and the 620. I LOVED the 600, and decided to get an updated version so I could take one to the office. Both are great products with excellent sound and wonderful portability.
Summary: One major problem that could break the deal for some. When the unit is hooked up to an ipod or desktop computer via the aux port, it shuts down after 10 minutes or so. For some reason, the unit does not think that it is receiving sound, so it shuts down.
Summary: I was looking specifically for a ipod dock/speaker that was very portable with a rechargeable battery. My purpose was to use it in the car (10 years old with only an am/fm radio and no plug-in for an ipod) and on overnight trips when we stay at places like B&Bs where there is no TV in the room and...
Summary: I use this with an iPhone, so most of my complaints are iPhone specific. Ipod users probably would be fine. Short Review: If you want this to play music from your iPhones library on the deck great.
Summary: I have owned 6 different ipod radios and this one is my 3rd Altec Lansing. I am disappointed with this unit for several reasons. The grills on the radio are flimsy plastic instead of metal like most units.
Summary: For the ultimate in portable music, try the Bose® SoundDock® Series II digital music system...it blows everything else away.
Pros: 1) Portable 2) Decent battery life 3) Charges the iPod while you play music Overall an 'okay' player. For $100, save $50 and buy something cheaper, because the overall quality is that of a $50 player.
Cons: 1) No Bass and Treble adjustments 2) Poor Bass performance 3) Clips and drops at higher volumes 4) Not very loud overall
Summary: I purchased this product primarily for the portability aspect. I currently have the larger JBL Radial and a Sirius Sololist. The Soloist has rather thin sound, so I gave it to my kid and got the Radial.
Does not work with streaming, no stable holder for iPhone

Summary: This is my second unit. I sent the first back because, when playing streaming audio on battery power it suddenly shuts off all power. I thought it was a defective battery. Well, the replacement unit does exactly the same thing.
Summary: I have both the 620 and its predecessor the 600. Let me start with what they both share: -Sound quality is good. No popping or cracks with iPods or Aux attachments. Radio pickup is very good. -The range of sound goes from very soft to very loud in good step increments.
Good sound, but marred by an inherent sound processing flaw.

Summary: The initial overall sound quality is impressive, with good thumping bass and slightly subtle highs. Quite amazing for the size of the speakers. However there seems to be an inherent problem which I first dismissed as a faulty unit.
