Summary: As others have said, I dont write reviews but in this case I have too! You will love this system. I took it to work to compare it to my sony explode and what a difference! The guys Got mad when I took the Lancing back home with me. Very clear highs and good lows. The bass is impressive. I like the passive radiator design for the second sub cause it drops the frequency and creates a really good balance.
Summary: I love this boombox. For the price it's great and the quility it just simple awesome. Had it for almost a year now. Brought this with every where bbqs, parks, beach and it's still working. Didn't have 400 dollars to burn on a Dr. Dre but I don't regret at all. With the weather warming up this will be great for yourself or as a gift.
Summary: This is my second purchase of the imt810. This newest one I bought for a friend who isn't internet savvy. He had heard mine blasting at a friends party and had to have one! Anyway, it arrived and I was setting it up for him and noticed the 7 band EQ was missing. Replaced with only treble and bass settings. The box said 7 band eq on it, the unit looks identical in every way! My first thought was this is stupid, why would they change the software?
Summary: I've been a mobile and club DJ in Hollywood for a decade now and was recently in the market for a relatively portable boombox for two general purposes: 1) To play loud enough for friends at indoor social gatherings of 30 or less (like beach houses, kick backs, Vegas hotels, etc) so that I wouldn't have to haul my 50-lb powered JBL PA's, and 2) For outdoor occasions such as camping, the beach, and other trips that involve extended periods away from a power outlet.
Summary: This box is pretty much top of the line in its class, my two boys yanked it out of the box jammed in their Ipod and fired up some "dub step" they immediately started grinning and convulsive dancing at the same time....father bought, teenage approved. It's not cheap, but the sound is worth it.
Summary: Pretty much read 100+reviews and tested every high-end boombox out there ie; ihome, polk, bang&olaf, JVC kaboom... I needed a portable system that delivered powerful quality sound for home, picnics, beach etc... for the $ there is nothing that compares. Can't imagine needing more wattage, at level 30 (goes to 40) my entire house is getting it. When i take it out to friends, they are simply amazed... BEST OF SHOW!
Summary: Bought this on the Gold Box deal last week and have zero buyer's remorse. This thing is built like things used to be built. Very sturdy. Readouts are simple to see and let's face it, you buy it for the sound, the aesthetics are secondary. Well, this thing scores on both fronts. It looks like a 2011 version of a 1981 boombox (we called them something else back then but the PC police would certainly object) with a polished exterior and plenty of heft.
Summary: I've owned quite a few boom boxes over the years. This is by far the best sounding unit and it's nowhere near as large or heavy as some I've owned. I use this one during tennis practice, covering three indoor courts. Better sound and easier to carry than my much-larger, heavy JVC RVNB20B Kaboom.
Summary: I'm VERY pleased with the performance of this system. I bought it primarily for outdoor functions and it is impressive. Many friends have commented on the quality of the sound produced by this product. It's even better indoors with walls to reflect the sound. The only thing that could be better would be if it would pause the play of the iPod playlist and return to where it left off when switching to a different playlist.
