Summary: I was looking for good sound and this has it! I was also looking to bring it to my kickboxing class to share music and it was not loud enough! I really was disappointed that it would not get loud because it has such great sound.
Summary: The sound is ok on this, it doesn't go really loud. The one issue I have with it is the battery life, it stinks!! You can only use it for like 4 hours before you have to charge it. And don't try to use it if you deplete the battery and are charging it. The charging can't keep up with the power consumption and you can't use the speaker. So that means that it can only really be used as a battery powered speaker, and like I said, that's only for 4 hours or so.

Summary: I was pretty underwhelmed by the sound from the Philips ShoqBox SB7200 Bluetooth Portable Speaker System, a product no doubt inspired by the Jawbone JAMBOX Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Black Diamond - Retail Packaging 's success. The sound was just "OK." A little tinny, light on bass, and a bit distorted at higher volumes. It was about what I'd expect from speakers of this size, and pretty much equal to the Jambox, which I already own.
Summary: The first 22 reviews I read about this speaker definitely influenced me to purchase the unit. However, when the unit arrived and I tested out all of the features and capabilities I was a little disappointed. I'll list out my pros and cons: Pros: - Love the splash proof rubber exterior as makes this an ideal candidate for outdoor usage. - Love the sound clarity as it truly does fill the "near" surrounding area with rich sound.
Summary: First impression. Wow this is a lot heavier than I expected. I wanted to get this for my wife when she goes on long walks with her friends. thought it would be cool to carry and share music. the sound it decent and loudness is ok. the shape is a little weird. not sure how to ever put it on the desk. the silver top looks like the battery door. I kept turning and turning it to no avail. then I realized it was the volume knob. Cute fun feature.
